Features

  • Function: This wheelchair carrier is designed for easy loading and transportation of wheelchairs, scooters, or similar items. It functions as both a carrier and a ramp, simply attaching to your hitch
  • Feature: The heavy-duty folding hitch enhances the carrier's rigidity and strength. Tie-down straps can be secured to various tie-down holes located on the sides of the ramp. It offers three positions: closed flat, open L-shape, and open flat. The ramp features a handle for effortless folding and unfolding
  • Key Specifications: Include a platform size of 26.8 x 46.2 inches, with a total ramp length of 38.7 inches when extended. The carrier weighs 67.3 lbs, and the ramp (gate) weighs 16 lbs. It is designed for easy lifting and can support a weight capacity of up to 500 lbs. The durable black powder-coated finish adds to its longevity
  • Design Features: The carrier includes a 3-inch safety rail and is compatible with all 2" receivers, suitable for hitch classes III or IV. The folding ramp can be locked flat when not in use, featuring heavy-duty steel construction and internal spring-loaded pull locks
  • Please note: Mobility devices should not be occupied during loading or unloading, and the rated capacities of your hitch must not be exceeded. A hitch tightener is recommended to minimize wobbling, although an anti-wobble plate is not included

  • very happy
I have not put it together yet but in box it is very heavy. My son is guessing 60 lbs. I would say 60-100. I found another like it same price but receiver part was steel but rest was aluminum. This 1 is all steel. In reviews 1 guy said he had to weld a peace to make it work on his Trk. Well U can't weld Aluminum to steel so I got this 1. Also if it should crack or need repair U can weld. I got it to take snow blower over to my sons when needed and hall my red trailer on with grass for garden. This will be much easier than the bigger trailer. OK I put it together and on the trk. It is very well built but instructions need some help. It tells what bolts go where and the pins. I took it apart 2 times and put it together 3 times. 1rst I put the Tung on wrong. U want the ramp to drop on passenger side so pay attention to hinges. Only 1 of 2 ways to do it I did it wrong. Than there is 2 bolts. 1 long and 1 short. Long 1 goes through tung and piece that goes into trk hitch. Short 1 goes into threaded hole under it to level. On tung there is a small piece of steel welded on bottom of tung for added strenght. It was used but not needed. There is a pin with S pin for it. So with long bolt and pin there is no leveling. Maybe to lock it? Well I did that wrong also. 3rd times a charm. The piece to pin the ramp up and down I had to put about 6 washers to move it out cause ramp was 2 close to frame. I got the ramp at a 90 degree pin to line up but 1 that pins it down to platform I need to drill out bigger for adjustment for lower pin to lock ramp in a not in use mode. Also none of it is not standard. Most metric and some don't know. Ended up using 2 crescent wrenches. It is heavy. I took out of box in house read instructions and took out in pieces in morning. It took me all day to assemble and on trk so still need to drill hole out. Now I could put together in couple hrs. I would buy it again but see no need to. It will do what I want to. I also went back to amazon's add and took some picks with phone so I could enlarge and see better. There is a small bag with blk nuts and washers. Put in pocket. I didn't see and wind blew away along with instructions. Found latter when done. Also peace that goes into trk hitch has a added piece welded on for wear. The tung should set down from top. LOL I hope this will help U do it in 2 hrs and not all day. Also the reflectors are very small. I got 2" X 50' here on amazon will put bigger and more than what they sent. Only thing is that my trk sets high but I can pull up on street and drop past the curb gaining 4-6" on ground height. Good luck. ... show more

  • Great cargo holder
Bought this for our scooter. Ramp is durable and a perfect angle to push the scooter onto the platform. Many anchor places to secure the scooter. Folds up easily. Instructions were a little vague, but I figured it out. Worth the price.

  • Durable design. HORRIBLE Assembly Instructions.
The overall design of the product is fairly good and solid. Overall quality seems to be on par with what I expected. To say the assembly instructions were lack luster and useless is an understatement. Consisting of essentially 3 poor pictures of Before, during, and after with no real instructions, it could be a crapshoot to assemble without prior experience assembling similar products. None of the Hardware is labeled so if you are not familiar with the differences between bolts, nuts, washers, and lock washers then the manufacturer does not care about that. They go as far as to label one of the main bolts as 3/8". That is in fact the Bolt diameter and not the size of socket/wrench needed to actually assemble. SO to that end, I am hoping this review will help some of you wondering what to use. Assembly itself was not too bad. Can be assembled by one person but I do recommend 2 people to mount onto vehicle receiver hitch. (I did it by myself but was a little Tricky and would have been easier with help.) 3 main bolts used to mount main bar to assembly use a 9/16" wrench and socket. (washer on bolt side and washer, lock washer, nut on other side. ) 2 bolts for Curved arm for spring locks 5/8" (Place bolt head on inside of main assembly and nut on outside. Same concept washer on bolt head side Washer, lock washer, nut on other side.) Spring bolts screw into frame and curved arm respectively. (I used crescent wrench and lock pliers as it was easier with the bolt designs. Make sure to leave proper room on inside of main assembly to lock into ramp but not prevent ramp from closing completely.) - The pictures in instructions are actually good about showing which spring lock goes into main assembly and which goes into curved arm. Main bolt for hitch receiver assembly use 15/16" socket and Wrench. After assembly definitely suggest mounting onto receiver hitch with 2 people. Also suggest using a hitch tightener to help the entire assembly from bouncing in the receiver while travelling. (Using to transport smoker grill easily rather than in bed of pickup. ) ... show more
