Received in a very timely manner. We purchased it for a long trip. It came in and it took me about five minutes to install it. It was super simple and easy. It was a little smaller than I expected but worked great never the less. After filling to it’s max capacity it didn’t make much noise at all. The aerodynamics of it is very good. It didn’t effect our gas mileage barely at all. The opening from both sides is very nice and easy to use. We went through rain and snow as well as washing it off at the car wash. Just the hand sprayer though not the auto one. It didn’t leak at all. In my opinion it is a very good product and well worth the money especially when compared to the more name brands. I purchased this cargo box for some extra room on our 2013 Subaru Crosstrek XV. It seemed like a safe bet since the same vehicle is featured in the product pictures. It did not disappoint. The cargo box was about $200 less than a comparable Thune cargo box. It is so light weight and super easy to install that I installed it on the car on my own. There really was no need for a second person. There has been no road noise from this box with the only exception being items in the box moving around that I did not secure (my fault). Have used this cargo carrier on several trips between Ohio and Colorado. The carrier fits nicely on my 2017 Forester. It stays securely closed and mounted to the roof rails. Have been through several severe thunderstorms and the contents have remained dry. Does add a little bit of wind noise, but is understandable. One down side, it does not fit the integrated roof fails on our 2016 Outback. Other than that, it is a keeper. Especially appreciate the more reasonable price compared to the two 'big name' offerings. ... show more

I finally invested in a hard shell cargo carrier, and this has been fantastic. I have a Subaru Ascent, and it is very easy to access the cargo carrier from either side, sleek, and light weight. It is so easy to put on and remove by myself as a 40yo woman. I'm very pleased with this product so far. Packaged well. Same tech as a Thule (dual opening, claw style attachment with torque sensing). Fits very well on my 2019 VW Tiguan (and the color matching is pretty close to wheels and trim). I installed as far back as possible (1/8" from open tailgate); still allows use of sun roof - 3/4 of the opening is unobstructed). Very pleased so far. Will try it out on the expressway / in rainy weather and will update if it fails... Update: 30 days of use and about 2k miles driven with it. Personally, I have not seen a decrease in MPG on my 2019 VW Tiguan. Very little road noise as well. It has performed excellent thru rain and snow (no leaks - knock on wood). NOTE - No size options offered in their listing, therefore you will need to deal with what you get, while leading brands offer different sizes (14CF, 16CF, 18CF, 20CF, 22CF or L, XL etc) to chose from to fit your vehicle. I bought this item because it looked like a great value, and it was a great value until…. The latch/locking mechanism became unreliable and soon after the key broke (the key is a very non-standard design that is not available at any locksmith I have found). I tried to call the company, but was not able to get through to customer service. I next sent an email asking if I could buy a new lock set or replacement key for the unit. 2 days later I got a curt response stating that they do not sell replacement keys or lock sets. I replied back asking for any help they could give me with perhaps the name of the company that manufactures the unique lock set. No reply. All in all, I wish I had paid a few hundred dollars more to get a name brand with decent service. ... show more
