  • Not Impressed
Package Quantity: 1
The poker is continuously coming apart. you barely use it to move any wood in the stove and the tip is loose and almost off, same with the handle. I have to constantly keep tightening them both back on as I am using is. Very disappointing and aggravating. The iron itself is solid but I guess I'm going to have to find a heat intensive glue to try to keep the pieces in place. ... show more

  • Not quite strait as an arrow...
Package Quantity: 1
Well, my “27 inch” poker finally arrived, 9 days later. Not a huge deal in these interesting times. But, considering Amazon was offering a refund, even they didn’t think it was actually gonna arrive. But thats not why we’re here... First issue, its inly 25.5 inches long, but I think thats because of the actual poker end. The pointy end has all kinda of issues. Its real special. Blunted, and not quite what I thought I was getting. There is all kinds of extra material at the seam, and the threads end receiver was placed off center, so it has a 15° off center cant when tightened down. Everything else is fine. Handle is great, shaft itself is strait. So, I guess you get what you pay for. Apparently they only sell these in pairs or sets at this point. I guess if they send two, one will actually be strait and pointy, like the ones in the picture. Considering what Im going to be doing with this, sticking it into fire and embers, these are just aesthetic issues, but I know it gonna bug me every time I use this tool. ... show more

  • Useless

Completely useless. It's way too short and unscrew all the time. I bought one for camp and everyone is still using sticks they have found.

  • Handle and poker won't stay tight
Package Quantity: 1
The weight of the product is great. It's sturdy enough to move logs around. However, the two ends pieces- the handle and the actual poker screw into the shaft, and they do not stay tight. Almost every time I use it, I need to tighten one or both of them, and when it's the poker end, it's dirty not to mention problematic if I only realize it's lose as I start to use it. Stay away from this product and find one that is one piece. ... show more

  • High quality for a reasonable price
Package Quantity: 1
I've used this poker several times now with my outdoor fire pit, and I'm impressed with the feel of the item, it's solid, not flimsy. The handle and tip are wrought iron (corrosion-resistance) and the shaft is steel (high-strength) with a matte-black heat-resistant coating applied. The handle and tip are tapped and thread onto the shaft. I have not experienced the "loose ends" issue as described by others. I hand-tightened the parts, then used a pliers to tighten each end a bit more. For a well-made product under twenty dollars, I'll happily add some inexpensive threadlocker should it become necessary. If you are trying to maneuver heavier logs and your only tool is a poker, do yourself a favor and purchase a set of tongs. Fires should be enjoyable, not hard work. Now if I can just find a way to keep the smoke from blowing right at me regardless of where I'm sitting, I'll be in business! ... show more

  • Poor product design - buy yourself a one piece poker
Package Quantity: 1
I strongly recommend those of you who are considering this poker to move on and consider another product. I have had this poker for a few months now so I have had ample time to try it out. The one positive thing I will say about this poker is that it doesn't transfer heat to your hand. The main reason I highly discourage people from buying this product is that the tip of this poker constantly loosens and I have to screw it back on over and over. I cannot tell you how many times during one sitting by the firepit this tip becomes loose. Had I known this was going to be such an issue with this poker I surely would not have wasted my money. So do yourselves a favor and spend a little extra money on a poker that is one piece so you do not have to constantly deal with the tip becoming loose time and time again. ... show more

  • Not great, but does what it needs to….sort of.
Package Quantity: 1
Was looking for something a bit inexpensive for a fire pit poker. This was about the least expensive one I saw in the brief research I did. You kind of get what you pay for with this. The handle jiggles not matter how tight you get it screwed on. Also, on that note, both ends screw on/off. I don’t understand why that is even a thing because when you are trying to move kindling around the end can become loosened, and for me it almost always has. So you’re constantly re-tightening the end piece. The handle will just jiggle all the time as if it’s loose, but it’s screwed on as tight as it will go. Just overall not a very quality product. If you don’t mind spending a few extra dollars, I would recommend a different poker. This one feels a lot cheaper than even its current price point represents. ... show more

  • Short End of the Stick
Package Quantity: 1
Product works great. Very sturdy and serves it’s purpose well. We leave the fireplace poker outside near the fire pit and no sign of rusting (yet—it’s only been a few months). What I don’t like about this stick is that it’s super short. Obviously this is not a product for kids but it feels kid size to me rather than a longer “adult length”. Again, everything works fine but my expectations were that this would be longer so that you can stoke the fire from your camp chair. Our old poker was almost twice as long and I thought things like this came all in one standard size. Oh well. Would still recommend but be warned. Clearly I didn’t read the dimensions closely. ... show more
