  • Easy to use and portable. Good for everything except perhaps really big jobs
NOTE: There is a 3,000psi version of this unit for more money you should consider if you are going to be pressure washing a large driveway/walkway. This 2100psi unit is perfect for hauling around, cleaning decks, small sidewalk areas, small driveways, cars.... and LIFTING and CARRYING if you need to up stairs, etc. You don't have to worry about accidentally "drilling a hole" in your deck with a 2100psi unit, or taking the paint off your car if you get too close. I have a gas powered high-end brand-name pressure washer. It's 70 pounds, and hauling it around is a chore, but I need it for my driveway, so I keep it in my garage. I bought this less-powerful unit because it so SO much easier to use than a gas machine! With a gas machine you have tremendous vibration (I mean TREMENDOUS) (I had one NAME BRAND machine that I bought that vibrated so much it loosened the bolts holding the engine to the unit and it flung the bolts around and the unit fell off!!!! ((Fortunately I was far away when it happened but it scared the %$@#! out of me. I filed a complaint with the consumer protection agency as I thought the design poor. The company said , "Outside the warranty period. TS..." I'd love to mention the brand but can't here.) Also those gas machines are very loud and noisy. And you need to have a supply of gas for big jobs, and oil. You have to pay attention to the oil amount because if it runs out and the machine is still going, it'll fry the engine. Those gas machines get very hot, too. The electric machines have NONE of those issues. So, looking for a machine that get's the job done, won't break your back moving it, won't drill a hole in your deck, and you can lift it up and put it in your trunk? This is it. It's pretty easy to assemble, too. It takes about 15 minutes. None of the major working parts need assembling, just the wheels and the handles and such. Further, I bought two units as my daughter liked hers so much I bought one for myself, too. However, I didn't use the one for myself for a long time, past the initial warranty period I'm almost sure. When I took it out of the box, it didn't work. OBF. After a bit of back and forth with the manufacturer to demonstrate it was an OBF and not user-error, they just said, "We're shipping you a new one asap." So, I am buying a third one now for my son's place. So, I think these guys stand by their stuff. One other quirk - not a bad quirk - but just to be aware. When you turn it on, it comes on briefly, then appears to shut off. It basically "idles" if you are not pulling the trigger to squirt water, so it sounds like it's off. When you pull the trigger, the motor kicks in and water flows instantly. That's another difference with the gas units - they rattle and belch continuously. My only recommendation is that they could put a light duty "lock on" button. You hand can get very tired after a while holding the trigger and dealing with the force of the water. (A twisty-tie works fine, but a push in- push out lock on would be much better. I'm ordering my third 2100psi unit. So, that's my recommendation. ... show more

  • Awesome for the money
Style: LT503
This is a really great little unit, a super value for the price. 2,100 PSI for around $150 is a smoking deal. As others have mentioned, it does have a 'soft' feel to it. The plastic is indeed soft so be careful not to strip the screws when assembling. I used a 4 Watt Ryobi drill and left my 18 Watt Mikata on the shelf, even at that you should tighten by hand after sinking the screws. The directions cost you 1 Star. Horrible like ALL Chinese instructions. They leave out things that make it confusing and needlessly complicated. Other than those two things it's Great. I was worried about going electric, but I agree with other posters, the quit is nice compared to a gas motor. The power is fine, I can't tell the difference from the gas powered unit I preciously used. And this is smaller and lighter, so if you need to go to the roof, WAY easier to haul up on a rope. The 'real time' adjustable spray pattern is nice, alter as you go. One annoying thing: The wand hits the ground when in the holder. It is about one inch too long. Another annoying thing is the GFI power plug is FAT, too fat to plug into your outside power oullet with the hinged cover on it. (do engineers EVER THINK???) Also, the unit is so light that it moves around when using the hose reel. No big deal, it's a trade off for small size / fits in shed better than a great big gas machine. Very happy with it. Every Kid should have one of these!!! ... show more

  • My 1st powerwasher. I'm addicted.
In the photo I included, the pillar took me less than 30 minutes. It would have been faster but I was still learning and fiddling with it to see what it could do. I highly recommend wearing cheap sunglasses to protect your eyes from bit of debris that may come off when the pressurized water is applied to it. It's crazy hot so we're just doing our driveway a rectangle at a time. The lower right part of the photo shows what a huge difference it makes. I paid a little more for the one with the reel. When the item arrived, it didn't have enough screws. I contacted the seller and they got me everything I needed quickly. I'm not a huge fan of the way the reel works. I do find it a little cumbersome to move around. I don't think we're technically supposed to connect it to an extension cord, but we've had to do it to reach a few places. All in all, it's been great for our purposes. The closer to the item you spray, the more powerful (and small) the stream will be. For anyone who is used to power washing and hopes to tackle a big project, you may wish for one that cleans a larger area faster. But for the average homeowner, it's enough. I like the ability to run power washing detergent through it and that it has a foam function. We're limited on space and I was concerned it would make our garage too full for cars, but we've managed. It's probably my favorite purchase this summer. (Was way better to do it ourself than to pay someone the same price to wash one time) Be sure to follow the directions with footwear and the order in which to turn on water/power/etc. As long as you do things their way, you'll be safe. Putting our experience on Facebook has made friends and family want to borrow it. So...remember that if you don't feel like sharing. ;-) ... show more
