We are potty training our puppy and he found pee pads to be a wonderful chew toy. After spraying this on the borders he leaves them alone. Though he still picks up our shoes after we spray them. So not sure if it just doesn't lasts well on our shoes or if he's really that stubborn. Though he doesn't chew them up, just moves them around the house. My golden retriever loves licking her feet constantly so I thought this spray would help. I have used it a few times and she licks it off right after spraying it on her feet. It may work for some dogs but it did not for mine..could be that she is not a picky eater.

I had really hoped this would deter him from chewing/licking his paws but he did it anyway and then had an upset stomach. He’s pretty stubborn( terrier) so it’s probably just him and not the spray.

My three month old puppy was chewing on anything she could - the crate, the baseboards, the gates in the house, my shoelaces, the floorboards. When I sprayed this stuff on the items, she sniffed and left the item alone. I think she did try to lick at one point. But it totally stopped the chewing! Yay! I just hope it keeps working as she gets into full teething mode. I have had to reapply it after a few days - but it is still keeping her from destroying my house.
