My son tried a wiggle car at a friends house and was having so much fun with it. He had an Amazon gift card and needed NOTHING so I said why not. We bought this and he had so much fun. His older brother (8) was often caught "borrowing" it so when PrimeDay came I found a 2nd car for him. It indicates the weight goes up to 110#. Both of my boys are under that so I have no complaints on capacity. The 2nd car we received had an issue with the bearing locking up so I exchanged it for a new one and the new car is perfect. Since I have a few toddler grandchildren, I bought this as a gift for them. The directions looked easy, but I did have some issues and then when I went on YouTube to find out how to put together, some other people have that same issue. Once I figured it out, it was easy to put together. It’s very sturdy Although it is supposed to be for smaller kids it’s hard for them to steer - my older grandchild. 8years old had a much easier time with it, Bit it is fun and the kids have a blast pushing each other around my patio.. I think as time goes they will figure out how to wiggle it and make it move more Glad I purchased it as they seem to enjoy it ,so that is the most important feature. ... show more

There are several points I’m going to make about why this is getting returned but I’ll start with the one that renders it impossible to use. I’m very adept at putting things together and following instructions. While it appears from some reviews that theirs came with the rubber mallet that the instructions say is critical; ours did NOT come with that. Luckily I have just about every kind of tool including my own set of socket wrenches which I hoped would resolve the fact that the little metal tool they included did NOTHING to tighten the bolt on the steering wheel. Despite having better tools for the job, the bolt wouldn’t tighten at all and no matter what we do the handle comes right off every time. I’m not putting my 3 year old grandchild on this. When my kids were young we had the REAL plasma car which they loved and have all talked about it being a favorite from childhood. Will be returning this and getting a plasmacar. Lots of reviews indicated the handle comes off and unfortunately I didn’t see those until I came back looking for any solution to get this thing put together. They also indicate problems with the wheels (we wouldn’t know as we did not get to that point of use). Some even indicate that the wheels that come with it don’t work but that they got the “upgraded wheels” and installed them and they’re great. I personally don’t feel like buying upgraded wheels should be necessary for it to work right. Also, people who got two at the same time mention one being able to be put together and the other they could not. But I am curious why some people seem to be able to get the handle to attach while others don’t. To me that indicates that there is not uniformity in these products and you don’t know what you’re going to get… so don’t bother. ... show more

    • Great toy! Fun for adults too!!

I got this for my grandson, who hasn’t tried it yet. But I did, all 230 lbs of me! What a blast! I could steer and go throughout my home. I have wooden floors, no marring occurred. My wife tried it as well, she too thought it was great. I am hoping my grandson will have as much fun as I do with it. Despite the issues below, I’m giving it 5 stars for the sheer fun. Issues : 1)no instructions were included but there are a couple youtubes that make it simple. 2) the steering wheel bolt was not properly fully seated in the plastic steering wheel. A few taps with a hammer fixed that. (Caution: remove the sliding bolt so it doesn’t get jammed into the expansion tube) I suspect those people complaining they can’t get the steering wheel to tighten up have an improperly seated bolt. 3) Rubber mallet suggested to seat things. A regular hammer with a folded small towel works fine. ... show more

I didn't know how my 7 yr old and 3 yr old grandkids would like these when I bought them as Christmas gifts but they were a hit! They continually road them and played together all evening after receiving them. My husband put them together without any issues. however keep track of the tool they give you for the steering wheel bc you periodically may need to tighten it back up again.
