My granddaughter loves it.. my daughter and I bought it for her 4th. Birthday. It was not cheap. It is easy to ride and the size is perfect for her. It seems that it functions good and is sturdy. It was little harder to assemble it was written by a Chinese, I do not think they assembled one.

I purchased a size small pony for my 2 year old. Set up was really easy and my daughter was moving around in it right away. Everyone was dying with laughter because it looks so darn cute. The pony is very well made and the materials used exceeded my expectations. This pony will be with us for years to come. The cars driving by were stopping in mid-traffic to take a better look. I am so pleased with this purchase, Im thinking of buying a large size pony so I can cruise around the neighborhood with my daughter. We have a Lamborghini and Jeep motorized ride-on, a balance bike, tricycle, scooter, skateboard, bike with training wheels and this pony is 100x better than all of them. I'm surprised I don't see more of these around. *****UPDATE***** I wrote the review above when my daughter was 2. She is now 9 years old. We loved and enjoyed that pony until she was about 5 years old. We gave the the pony to her younger cousin after riding it almost daily for 3 years. Her cousin loved and enjoyed it for 2 years and then passed it to her little brother and he still rides it today. This ride is definently sturdy and well made. My daughter still remembers the pony and the fun times we had riding it. I think this was the #1 toy purchase I have made since my daughter was born almost 10 years ago. I went back and forth about the Medium size, because my daughter (got this for her 7th bday) was right on the line with a 21 inch inseam (52 pounds). But I wanted her to feel comfortable on the pony right away, so I went with Medium instead of Large. It turns out Medium is the perfect size for her. She hoped right on and can easily operate the pony. I think this size will work for her for a long time too. And yes, it’s a very cool toy! It’s still very expensive, but I do like that it doesn’t have a battery that will just die in a year like the other ride on cars. This seems like it will last longer. Really well made. Inside support is metal and very solid. This is not going to tip over by accident. The rear wheel design is such that up-and-down motion of the child causes slow forward motion only, with a one way breaking system. The unicorn will not travel backwards. The wheels are "RollerBlade" style rubberized wheels that are well made and resistant to wear. The handlebars on the head allow for easy right and left steering. The fur is thick and nice with well stitched seams. There is nothing cheap about this product and no weak areas that I've found to date. The BEST gift for all horse crazy, active kids! Easy to assemble. Sturdy, well made horse. My nearly 4 year old daughter jumped right on it, within minutes figured out how to make it go and won't get off it now!! Best Christmas gift ever! Only flaw in the design is that the horse does not go backwards, making maneuvering around the house difficult, but my daughter is working around that easily. I got the small unicorn for my 2 year old granddaughter. Well made and looks exactly as pictured. It is well worth the cost! My granddaughter is petite, 2' 9", but she can reach the pedals enough to make the unicorn walk. She loves it! This was a great gift!
