Awesome jeep, you will need to upgrade the steering servo, mine lasted about 5 min then quit so you should buy a 20kg with it..... Ok I've had this jeep for a while now and it's still awesome a friend of mine bought the grey one and it comes with upgraded diff covers that look sweet I painted mine, I've also had to replace my pinion gear it was brass and the main trans gear is plastic, was a very easy fix local rc hobby shop had a metal replacement pinion gear 14t 48p and a main gear 87t all made for axial and fit perfectly and back on the trail, working on these is as fun as crawling and trail riding.. all I can say is buy one you will not regret it... oh yeah I've replaced the body with a 1946 dodge power wagon, oh man this thing looks awesome..... ... show more

I love this truck. It's a great way to get into the hobby for a relatively cheap price. The parts are easily upgradable since most of the parts for Axial and Gen8 fit this truck.

Pretty capable crawler. New to R.C. crawling got this as my starter rig. Axial upgrade stuff bolts on. I got the 1/10 version and it's tough as nails. It's got all metal gears and a good motor. All and all just a really great starter truck. Edit (1 month later) Still a great truck, I put a few mods on mostly esthetic but the truck is great. I would recommend making sure all the screws are tight before the first run on it though. Most likely will pick up a second for my son. Great truck! ... show more

This little crawler is really nice! It feels ”heavy duty” when you lift it. It crawls better than my redcat E-10. The tires are really nice and the 3 speed Switch is awesome! The tires are directional but came backwards out of the box, did a simple 2 minute tire rotation and it’s fixed. If you thinking about getting this jeep, DO IT! ... show more

Battery that comes with the truck goes bad really quick only have had the two for 2week not played with everyday and Battery won't hold a charge but other then that great jeep to play with.

Bought this for my 8yr old son for Christmas. Right out of the box the transmitter didn't work properly. Would constantly run in reverse. Adjusted throttle trim multiple times. Rebinded transmitter to truck multiple times. Had to smack the remote in order to get it to stop. Then both front axles broke with my son driving across our lawn with a light dusting of snow. The truck was quick but doesn't seem very durable. Didn't get 30min out of it before it was back in the box ... show more
