This is thicker than the last sole cover I bought and I like how sturdy it is to keep its rigidity around the ends if the shoe. Get some good glue and you should be good

    • Easy to cut, seems durable without bulk
I used this material to glue up the forefoot of two pairs of leather dress shoes. It was easy to cut and seems durable. Grip is definitely aggressive to combat slippage. The only gripe is that it’s doubtful that it’s actually 2.2mm thick. Time will tell how it holds up. I’ll come back to update over time. ... show more

I have a pair of slip on wedgie sandals w a hard plastic bottom….slippery and noisy to say the least. After the shoemaker said he could not put anything on the bottom to fix the problems, I found this rubber sheet and Shoe Glue which works great. I made a template of shoe areas to be covered to cut exactly what shape I needed…you can cut small pad shapes or cover larger areas depending on shape of shoe. Then tape template to rubber sheet and cut pieces, then flip template over to cut the other shoe shape. (Mirror images). The Shoe glue is awesome, cleaned and scuffed bottom of shoes then apply glue generously w wooden stick or knife, then pressed the rubber form in place. It oozes out a little so don’t overglue the area because it is tough to scrape excess off. Used removable tape to hold in place and left overnight to dry, really important for the glue to set properly…Now I walk quietly and safely on all surfaces with this nonskid rubber product.     • Disappointed no glue on bottom to attach to boots or shoes
A lot of waste material with this product you have to cut each individual soul out for the type of shoes you have nice durable that goes points to the ground but you need glue and I don't know what type of glue you can buy that will stretch with the sole of the foot as it's bends would not recommend doesn't fit my needs sincerely Mr Gerald Harris ... show more
