When i first received the package, it looked a bit intimidating. I have ordered from Rep Fitness in the past (power rack and adjustable bench) and putting things together has been fairly easy. I like the use of standard parts, just in case I lose a screw, nut, or bolt. I already had all the dumbbells out. Each pair came in a separate box. The dumbbell rack came in its own box and was well wrapped and protected. Assembly was easy. I did it by 99% by myself. I only asked help when I started placing the shelfs to side braces. Once I had loosely attached the bottom two shelfs and one of the top shelfs, the rest was easy. I forgot to take a photo of the fully assembled rack, but you get the idea. I placed all the dumbbells on the rack and, yes, it's solid. I will update the review over time with a fully assembled rack photo and my thoughts on the rack after using it for a month or two Overall, delighted with the purchase. ... show more

The product itself is great quality. Sturdy and worth the price. Customer service though was also amazing. They accidentally shipped my package to someone else. Within a day or so they had another one on the way to me and it was delivered within a few days. Great product, low odor was not a joke. They smell brand new but otherwise no smell to them at all. The construction is solid and the knurling feels really good. If you're looking for good equipment I can't rec them enough. Their Power rack is also very well made. Everything was fairly painless. The only two thing I had an issue with was:1 The rack and mat are not (always?) in the same shipment as the Dumbbells, so if you get a crate of dbs and no rack and mat, just make sure to call and see if it s on the way. ... show more

I have only had for a week but have been really impressed so far. The weights arrived in individual boxes....inside a wooden crate....strapped to a pallet... no way any transport damage was going to occur. I have a 110 foot long driveway and the delivery guy took pallet all the way into garage and did not just drop off at curb as was all he had to do. Of course slipped him a 20 for the great customer service. Weights look well made with practically no defects (some black rubber goop had slightly run onto one of the handles....not a big deal, just me being OCD) I was worried about spending this much on a set of dumbbells but after looking at a lot of different products I decided to pay for the quality I desired. I have a ton of Rep Fitness gear for a couple reasons. One, I'm always impressed with their quality and price. They are in Colorado and have a great staff! If I have any questions or concerns, they are fast to respond. Makes being a customer easy :) I really liked the fully knurled troy dumbbells at my globo gym for a couple reasons. One, there are no smooth parts of the handle that make them harder to grip. Especially when I start to sweat a bit. I noticed all of the other options for rubber hex dumbbells had the smooth/knurled handles. I think that is a really bad design. Two, the weight is better distributed over my entire hand instead of having a weird contoured handle. Third, best price for rubber hex dumbbells! Lastly, I love them! ... show more

Went back and forth on the ergonomic handles vs these and I’m so glad I got these. The rubber is a little oily as mentioned in other comments but wasn’t a big deal for me. Would definitely buy these again if I needed to.
