    • On vacation without it was SO Uncomfortable
After about 8 months I am finally writing a review. We went out of town for about a week and I didn't take this pillow. Boy what a mistake, I didn't realize how much this has helped me have a comfortable relaxing sleep. It does feel different at first and takes some getting used to how it feels. But this aligns my head, neck and shoulders for a comfortable sleep. Previously with a regular shaped pillow I could not stay on my back for long because my neck wasn't aligned. Now it is very comfortable and can stay on my back much of the night. Also when I roll to the side it lifts up my head keeping my neck aligned and less pressure on my shoulder, Before I would use my arm under my head to help lift it but that always hurt my arm and shoulder. I would recommend this pillow but give it some time to get adjusted since it feels so much different than an old fashioned shaped pillow. ... show more

This pillow is heavy but very comfortable. I sleep on my side and this pillow provided the relief I needed. The weight keeps it from moving as I move and it supports my neck perfectly. I highly recommend it.

I do like how comfortable this is, but we don't have central AC in our early 1900's home so at night I feel like the heat emanating from the pillow is a bit much. However, I recently bought some silk (standard sized) pillow cases that I'm going to try on it instead. I also figure that I'll be grateful that it holds in heat in the winter time, because we also don't have central heat...just gas heaters. ... show more

The height of this pillow is not really what the photos show, and is too low. The foam has a nice density, but it was hard for me to manipulate into a comfortable position due to the height being too low. Also, I could never get it to fit properly into its cover. I am the queen of pillow probs. (This is our household prime acct disregard the name). When I tell you this is the BEST pillow purchase I have ever made- For the first couple weeks I wasn’t pumped on it, then I realized I was using the wrong side (the thinner part goes by the top of your head). I have had this pillow for about 8 months and I’m obsessed. I have tried EVERYTHING. My final straw was when I went back to tempurpedic to buy yet another pillow and was told by the rude employee “well you have broad shoulders” when every pillow I tried was not enough neck support. After 5 years at a desk job, yeah I NEED good neck support. I definitely did not think a $20 pillow would be the solution to my side sleeping neck problems. Doesn’t matter if I lay on my stomach side or back this thing provides perfect support. I went with the OG regular firm one. Would recommend a zipper pillowcase for it as regular ones slide off.
