I read all the reviews before I purchased this pillow and most are accurate as far as it looking strange, and maybe being too flat. It does feel different when you lay your head down but I am confident that the way this pillow is designed it's for side sleepers one hundred percent. You have to get used to it. I order large medium. It's definitely a medium feel not too firm not soft. It really feels good. Very comfortable. I'm not feeling the arm pain laying on my side. Definitely recommend getting the size large tho, I couldn't imagine this pillow smaller. This size is perfect. I have sleep apnea and other sleep issues. I used this for 3 weeks and my neck and my back felt worse after it. I do have a specific condition where my neck is straight and sometimes it curved pillow is too much for me but I thought I would try this one. It's definitely a quality product.

With chronic neck pain, I've gone through a lot of pillows trying to find one that relieves the pressure on my neck. This is the best purchase ever! I no longer wake up with stiffness and headaches. It does not flatten out overnight and is generally cool temperature-wise so I'm not continually awakened by an overheated pillow. I'm a side and back sleeper and it is comfortable either way. If/when this one wears out, I will definitely be buying another. This has been a lifesaver for me and has given me many nights of uninterrupted, pain-free sleep. And the price can't be beat. If you have a ride in your neck these will probably be too high I'm going to try it for a few more days on my side it's awesome but on the back it seems too high such a shame it's a comfortable pillow I let this sit for a little over 2 weeks and it works great now you wouldn't go wrong and buy one of these give it a try but let it sit for a couple weeks before you really try it ... show more
