A perfect sized grill for 1 - 2 people. If you’re making smaller portions I can even see it working for 3 - 4 people.. even more if you’re doing something small like hot dogs. The grill does not come assembled but the instructions are easy to follow and I had it assembled in less than 10 minutes. It feels to be made of good quality and resembles larger kettle style charcoal grills in terms of functionality. This would be a great buy for someone who wants to be able to cook when camping, or even anyone who wants to be more efficient with how much charcoal they use since you don’t have to use as much as you would with a larger pit. ... show more

this little grill performs much better than expected. I purchased it to keep at our campsite for our Girl Scout summer camping events. needed some thing compact and affordable, this grill was absolutely perfect! It game nicely packaged in a Plain brown box. assembly was simple. Just had to attach the grill to the base and tighten the lid hinges. My first time using it, I put a couple handfuls of coals on one side for direct cooking and none on the other for indirect cooking. I was able to dish up 6 lbs of hamburger, 30 hotdogs, 15 steaks and a small pork loin over the course of the day. I never had to add any additional coal at all! after all this cooking this little grill was still holding at 350 degrees. Amazing little grill and worth every penny!! It’s solid and durable, with a thick enamel finish. look forward to getting many years of use out of it. For easy clean up, before using the grill I covered the ash catcher, coal pan and the bottom of the grill with tin foil. Once done and ready to pack it up Just had to pull out the foil and it was good to go for next time. I hope this review Helps ... show more

This little guy is great for quick bbq's. A few tips after using it...if your only doing some dogs or burgers you can get away with using only the amount of charcoal that fits in a starter chimney. For longer cook times, like chicken or steak, you need to fill the bowl with charcoal (45 or more briquettes). In addition, no matter what your grilling the bottom vent needs to be in the full open position to provide enough ventilation for a hot burn. all things considered though, for the money, you simply can't go wrong with this grill. ... show more

Great little grill, used it on my patio along with my George Forman grill took care of burgers and Hotdogs and my son but some beef ribs on it for those who love that grill flavor. Sat it on my metal side table. If you want grill without having to pull out and clean the big grill this one is for you. Glad I purchased it. ... show more

I'm very surprised how well this little guy works. I cooked 4 porterhouses on it beautifully instead of firing up the big grill the other night. I was VERY pleased. it was a breeze to put it together and I see it will last for quite awhile.
