The media could not be loaded. The LC Eterna R/C car is a peppy little thing that hugs the road neatly and manages fast, sharp turns. The car comes with a hell of a cool options pack, each package contains parts to swap out to any one of four shell designs. I have a personal preference for the orange car, but all four are nice designs, and currently I'm playing with the police car design. The car is a little rough on the tarmac but handles concrete surfaces well. The tire grip really doesn't allow for drift action, but that's okay, this car is just a fun little tool-around that is energetic enough to try some small stunts, but simple enough to operate that most kids can handle it with ease. The controller is as straightforward as one of these can get and is decently sized so my meaty hands can handle it as well. It's as intuitive to use as I could possibly imagine. One thing I will say is the belt pack that comes with this is a bit gimmicky and while it's cool and definitely well-constructed (I can't test it as it only goes about halfway around my big adult body) I can't help but think it is the least likely to be used part of the package. But that might just be my adult mindset talking here. All told a fun little car that, with the interchangeable body designs, will provide a lot of excellent play value. ... show more

This is a fun remote control car. It has a total of four bodies that can be used on the chassis. It is metal and weighted well. In the box came the chassis with one body already installed and three additional bodies with their bumpers and spoilers. A waist belt is also included and it holds the car on one side and the remote on the other. The rechargeable battery, charging cable and a screwdriver for the battery compartment are also included. The rechargeable battery, cable and screwdriver are bubble wrapped with the different bodies so you will need to unwrap them all to find these items. On the back of the box are the instructions. easy to use. nice case that it comes with. only downside is all the tiny screws that my 6 yr old was trying to get out ot change the body. we did have to help which is fine. but a little more complicated then expected... battery doesnt seem to last too long.

I've been taken back into my childhood with this! My dog hates it, but that's okay, he can deal with it! It comes with a few different shell options, which is pretty cool. The car's battery is rechargeable, but the remote does need external batteries. I've played for several hours without needing to replace them, though. The handling is a little bit of a learning curve, it's not the smoothest drive I've ever played, but it's definitely learnable. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This is a review of LC eterna Radio Controlled Racing Car with 4 Interchangeable Shells. The model number is 36814. The ASIN (Amazon Standard Identification Number) is B0D3KM1K12. The set comes with a storage bag and a belt. The bag is large enough for one car and the controller. The controller has a style similar to video game controllers. The car bodies can be swapped by removing 7 black screws from the underside of the metal chassis. There is no instruction sheet. The instructions are printed on the bottom of the box. The controller needs 2 AA batteries, to be supplied by the customer. It’s a good idea to charge the vehicle battery before initial use. It took about 2 hours to charge the main battery. Unfortunately, there is only one battery, so when that runs down, it will have to be removed and charged. So, no fun for a couple of hours. This is the only failing I found with the set. The car is super-fast and the controls respond quickly. Having interchangeable bodies is a big plus. The tool belt adds convenience. Why ruin the effect by supplying only one battery? Two stars have been deducted for the inconvenience. ... show more

This thing is one of the better RC cars I've ordered. You get a lot of bang for your buck - a decent chassis and 4 sturdy metal shells. The controller is very video game controller inspired, so a natural fit for my 8yo. The car moves at a reasonable clip, but would benefit from a larger battery for longer playtime. There's room in the battery compartment for it. The neoprene holster for the controller and the assembled car is a fun extra, and it keeps those two essentials together when not in use. ... show more

I ordered this remote-control car for my kids. I wasn't really sure what to expect as I have never ordered from this manufacturer before. I'm happy to say that I am very pleased with this RC car. It arrived exactly as described/pictured. It is made mainly of plastic but still seems really durable and it charges quickly. This set comes with the RC chassis, 4 interchangeable bodies (front and rear bumpers included), a screwdriver, a rechargeable battery, and a USB charging cable. This RC car is also very fast. The only reason I gave it 4 out of 5 stars is because the controller only allows for up/down (left) and side to side (right) movement which is not all that smooth.
