  • Overjoyed to find a lightweight substitution for a stroke splint.
Color: Yellow
My husband had a stroke about 21/2 years ago. His right hand still clenches. Several therapists have asked him repeatedly to wear the stroke splint on his hand. My husband tries to for a short time, then refuses to wear it. It is heavy and uncomfortable. We received this grip ball yesterday. As you see in the picture, my husband is wearing it. He isn’t complaining. The ball is light and large enough to keep his fingers open. The finger separators do their job too. I am overjoyed to find something that he can tolerate. ... show more

  • Works very well
Color: Yellow
Purchased for a stroke patient who’s hand was staying in the fist position with pain when opening hand, this really helped to keep the hand in an open position and ease pain.

  • Nice concept but doesn't quite work like it should.
Color: Yellow
I purchased this for my son who had a stroke. The concept is good and it does help him keep his fingers from closing. I found that the velcro for the fingers does not work well. The velcro straps are straight across the ball and since his thumb and little finger are shorter they don't stay strapped in no matter how tight you make them. ... show more

  • Bigger than I thought
Color: Yellow
I ordered this to work with my husband's hand contracture - it's way bigger of a ball than I thought and harder than I thought - I can't use it because he's not there yet - his hand is not opened that wide. I'll have to wait til he gets it opened more or just toss it If it were softer it would work but it's too hard to work ... show more

  • Special needs aid
Color: Yellow
I bought two of these as a gift for a special needs child who would bite and grab people with force. Her mom will stress going out and public. I researched a lot and came across these and decided to buy them. It looked soft and friendly. The mom was so grateful and is looking forward to buying them again. ... show more

  • Finger stretcher.
Color: Yellow
Not easy to put on when hand doesn’t open easily. Works well when it’s finally strapped in but take a lot of work. Perhaps if instead on the individual finger Velcro it had a strap that could be strapped on over all the fingers once they’re opened over ball, it might be easier.

  • Fast shipping!
Color: Yellow
Got this product super fast, the yellow color makes it easy to find if you misplace it around the house. Works well for strengthening the hand.
