It's great, they say the measurements and everything on there but it still feels smaller. Maybe even a little weak for what I thought it might be. Overall happy . It works well, easy to set the lock. I purchased both the key and combination versions of this item. I recommend the key version over the combination version. The keys are fairly generic, but not the worst key lock for the price. The combination safe however, can be reset if you don't know the combination which I don't care for personally. Also the combination one only uses three digits which is significantly less safe than four, and most number-based safety and security things use for so through is harder for me to remember. The spine of the books blends in fairly well. Unfortunately, it would be very easy to determine that it isn't a real book by feel alone it feels hollow I can't really describe it any better than that. So, well do you recommend it especially for the price don't expect that you're going to get something super sneaky with it. If someone knows you have a book safe it will be easy to find or if someone is going through your things looking for hidden stuff I actually think this would make it easier to discover whatever you're hiding. Also one final thing, you can't really flip the paper almost all at all so having it be real paper only adds minimal stealth. Still a great place to stash things are hiding from small children or a place to put something that makes you feel very Scooby-Doo. Four stars not bad but too many dislikes to give five. ... show more

I love this- love the pages, lock code was easy to change, and it can hold a decent amount of stuff. There is the downfalls though- very obviously not a box as it’s very box-y and not book like, the whole thing is glued together and came apart almost immediately but i just glued it back together, and though i can keep a decent amount of stuff in the little box it can’t be bulky at all. once this is on my book shelf with all my other books it won’t stick out so bad, but right now it’s pretty clear it’s not a book. Wish the inside was padded or something so the stuff inside can’t be heard moving around when i bring this with me. ... show more
