Love this plane. It is very easy to fly, even if you are new to RC planes. Other than snapping in the two landing gear wheels, it comes fully assembled. The plane looks remarkable! Great rendition of a P51 Mustang. It come with several replacement parts in case you have any mishaps. So far, I haven't had to use any of them! It includes two batteries for the plane but you do have to supply your own AA batteries for the remote. If you are new to RC flying, I highly recommend this plane. With the several skill level settings, you can get airborne quickly in the beginner mode. As you get more comfortable, you can switch to the higher levels. They allow tighter turns and less assistance. After flying for 15 minutes, I was able to increase my skill level and doing different maneuvers.     • Very Hart To Get Airborne, Even In Beginner Mode
So, I am an RC car enthusiast, and when I saw this RC Airplane on Vine, I figured I would give it a whirl. Right out of the gate, the instructions for assembling the plane are fine. It basically comes assembled, but without the wheels attached to the body. You basically have to install the 3 wheels on the bottom of the body and you should be ready for flight. I charged one of the batteries, then installed batteries in the remote and took her outside to the street for flight! After a few attempts, I was able to get the plane airborne and did a little bit of flying. It is very hard to control. I ended up crashing into the front of my house, which detached the propeller (like it is intended to do) and landing in the mulch in front of the house. After the crash, I was able to reattach the prop and try to fly it again. Now it just tries to take off, but ends up "nosing" down into the ground as it gains ground speed and the propeller hits the street and it pops off again. All in all, if you are an experienced pilot who know how to fly an RC plane, it might be fine, but there is no way your average adult who has no experience with flying these things, or a kid, could successfully operate it. ... show more

    • Fine, fast plane, but make sure you know what you're getting
I am impressed with this plane, but let me get two caveats out of the way first: Looking at the pics, this plane could easily be mistaken for the RC P-51 Mustangs from various sellers that have a 500mm wingspan and a clear canopy. This is NOT that plane. This one has a 410mm wingspan and the canopy is part of the foam fuselage, and not a separate, clear plastic part. The second caveat is that flying this plane well is HARD. I've crashed it a lot, and I'm not exactly new to the world of RC aircraft. With that out of the way, I gotta say in a world full of two and three-channel foam planes that use thrust vectoring to turn, it felt great to get my hands on this true four-channel plane, with a rudder, ailerons, and elevator, all of which make for a more acrobatic flying experience. The speed of this plane did catch me off guard, though. I like a nice slow flyer that gives me time to make course corrections and doesn't demand intense concentration. This is not that plane. In fact, it was so fast that I experienced my first crash into a tree less than 30 seconds after I hand-launched it! And that crash broke one of the landing gear, so it's nice the manufacturer included extras. It's odd the manufacturer's name is nowhere on the box, because this really is a thorough, well-thought-out product, with an extra battery, extra props, extra landing gear, and even an extra battery charger so you can charge both batteries simultaneously. Also nice is that the transmitter has beginner, intermediate, and advanced settings, so new pilots can fly with nanny devices turned on to prevent stalls and crashes, and then switch into full-control mode for acrobatics when or if they're ready. So far I've crashed and damaged this plane more than I've enjoyed it, but I do hope with enough practice I'll get better at flying it. ... show more

Great rc plane it's pretty easy to fly with a little practice and is really fun once you get the hang of it I would definitely recommend especially if your already into rcs great plane.

    • pretty expensive for what it is
it does work, but i expect will not survive a crash. feels like fairly brittle styrofoam. does come with everything needed to fly except for controller batteries. will update review once damage occurs. make sure there is an adult to assist, kids definitely cannot do this on their own.
