I wanted to try my hand at a veggie garden this year. My yard does not have ideal soil condition and is very wet, so I chose to use raised beds so I could control moisture. I wasn’t sure if I would stick with gardening and didn’t want to invest a ton into the raised beds (I’m you typical ADHD hobbyist that buys all the things then moves onto a different hobby). Great looking garden bed that is deeper than most. Looking forward to planting some vegetables that can take advantage of the extra space such as potatoes or carrots. It comes with 3 support rods that are easy to install. The bed feels quite sturdy once these are put in, they should prevent the sides from bulging out from the pressure of the soil’s weight. It was easy to put together and the instruction diagrams were easy to understand. A screwdriver is included so it is easy to tighten the screws and wing nuts together. The top edges of the bed are rolled over so they aren’t sharp, however the sides are sharp. The corners of each piece are rounded off but they are still sharp. I would recommend wearing gloves when putting it together to avoid injury. Highly recommend, I hope to buy another one for next planting season. ... show more

I bought these raised planter beds this year, and overall, I’m really impressed! The build quality is sturdy and durable, which gives me confidence they’ll last for many seasons. The size is perfect for growing a variety of plants—my cucumbers thrived in them, producing an incredible harvest. The price was unbeatable for the quality and size, making this a fantastic value. One thing to note is the time it takes to assemble. There are quite a few screws involved, so it’s a bit of a project. If you enjoy building things or don’t mind spending some time on assembly, these are a great choice. I bought this for my mom and was pleasantly surprised when I opened the box. The contents include not only the fasteners (bolts and wing nuts and more), but it contains a little box to contain the pieces, a screwdriver, and a "wrench." I was able to put this thing together in under an hour without incident, and there are a few extra nuts and bolts in case one disappears. The garden bed is sturdy, and it's deep enough to create a "lasagna" garden for my mom who lives on very rocky land. I'm so happy with this purchase! ... show more

Assembly was very simple, I did it in under an hour, but I wasn't in any hurry. The directions are IKEA quality picture only ones, but once I looked at them closely, I figured out which panels went where. One on the ends and three for the sides. I did the ends first and then attached the sides. I put it together right where I wanted to place it in the yard, it seems sturdy enough, but I don't know as if I'd drag it around a lot. If you have two people, it would be very easy to move. The metal is sturdy, not flimsy at all, I'm pretty confident that I can get a few years out of this little box. ... show more
