Super cute and easy to put together. I feel the glass bulb vases are pretty sturdy and a good size. Although I have had no problem with the frame, I do feel it is a bit fragile. I am using it to try and root a plant and keep some basil fresh (it's hot hot hot where I'm at). So far it's working great, I love it. Totally giftable and a good price. ... show more

I'm updating my review to 4 stars. I submitted a return/replacement request and received a new terrarium within a few days. The new one arrived in perfect condition. I'll need to return the broken one, a bit of an inconvenience, but I understand. Hopefully, the return of the damaged one will help the maker improve design or QA. So, I'm changing my review from 3 stars to 4. Original Review: I had this product saved for about a month while I took the time to research and compare others that are similar. I finally decided to go with this one, in spite of the few negative reviews. Unfortunately, one of the two items I received arrived a few hours ago and one had a broken wooden base. I'm so sad because I've been looking forward to these for a while. I was able to quickly assemble the (unbroken) one. It's so adorable and the size is perfect. I'm happy that the rod fits through the holes on the glass and the finish on the wood is beautiful and natural, perfect for my room's aesthetic... I just wished I could use both. ... show more

Very cute looking but I do not recommend this item. The glass is thin and flimsy. This fell on to floor on its own and broke into pieces.
