I've used this product for years. It does keep black ants away--once I put down the traps, black ants disappear in about a week. However, it does not seem to kill little brown ants. Every spring I get these little tiny ants that can crawl in the very small space under my door. I just bought more for this year. Last spring I got them and put some right near the door where they come in and it took care of the ants in short order. It had more than I needed so I put some in the garage near the other door where I think they can get in. It took care of all the ants in the garage for the entire year. I decided to start with fresh ones this spring and not wait for the infestation to start. I hate using pesticides and live and let live with outside insects but once they enter my home, all bets are off! My entire neighborhood sits on a giant anthill, and every spring we all get ants without fail. Usually sending out traps kills the ones swarming my bathtub and stuff, but the ants don't seem interested in these traps. OR the bait is less effective.

Last week I noticed a lot of ants in my home. I have never had an ant problem. I was able to local where they were coming from outside and took care of that area with another treatment. I was looking for a product that I could place safely on the floor, meaning no liquids spilling out of traps, on the floor in corners or up against the walls out of the flow of traffic. I tried to place them where I saw the ants. I placed then down and was hoping they would work within a few days as stated in the top reviews. Nope, they did nothing sadly. I have never spent this amount of any traps to have them do nothing. But I did with these. I wish I would have read the most recent reviews, not the top reviews. The top reviews were mostly glowing. Recent, all one stars. I came here tonight and noticed I too am going to be giving them one star. They did absolutely nothing for the ants inside. In fact, the ants are still walking around like they own the house. Now if I can get them to start paying rent, I might be able to work something out. 🤔 Don’t buy if you want to rid ants in a few days will results. I have no results from these. ... show more

Set the Bait Stations out in the bathroom where I was seeing ants. It was a Food Frenzy, the ants were in OVERDRIVE back and forth from the bait to back behind a fitting. This morning I saw maybe 3 still living but many, many dead ants. Very easy to use. Would definitely buy again.
