  • Wish they were less toxic but they do work.
They work but can only use them behind things where my kids can’t touch them. Wish they had an actual non toxic version.

  • Kill Ants
Great to compare products (can't do that at retail stores anymore) good price and ants don't return from the same nest. I like to keep an 8-pack handy, for a "pop-up of ants indoors. When I see 'em I place a couple containers out to bait/kill the pismires --- when the opened cans are past their posted life, I wet them down (in the can) and place outside, near wher the ants were found inside the house. Good product, great pricing and fast fulfillment. ... show more

  • Killed ants
We had an ant invasion, tried a similar deterrent but no comparison to Raid. Raid was much more effective more rapidly. You could see the effectiveness. I would surely purchase this product again and again. If I had to but so far maybe just as a maintenance but not really necessary at the moment.

  • Do not expect a magic!
Each pack comes with 8 pieces. The user guide it is recommended to use all of them at the same time which does not make sense for me! Anyway, I used all of them, put them in different areas. It helped to reduce the ants population walking around my apartment, but I still see them. So, this guy might help to mitigate, but not resolve the issue fully! ... show more

  • Stayed true to their motto
Initially, I felt bad about the "kills the whole colony" aspect. Like, I'm going to kill them and their whole family lol though I am Sicilian, I'm not Mafioso hahaha. It appeared to work by luring them in. At first there seemed to be far more ants than I initially had, then, they literally disappeared. So I'm going with the belief that the Raid lured them in and to the baits, which they then shared with the colony. As I have no crumbs for them to eat in my house, not even under my toaster, so I had no idea what they could want, or be eating! (Must've been the cat food) They came in droves for the bait! So I'm comfortable to say it did it's job and worked just as described, even though I felt bad for killing them and their entire community ;) ... I guess they should've chosen another residence to invade lol I was like "there's no food for you here! What could you possibly want?" lol I put the traps out about 2 weeks ago and haven't seen any ants in maybe a week, so I decided to post my review now that I've given the product time to perform, and perform it did!! Great job Raid!! The product is very simple to use, just open the packaging and place them inconspicuously, they'll do the rest of the work. The fact that they bring the poison back to the colony and share it, means you won't have little dead ants all over the place, they go back to their home to expire! Ps. I placed them in rooms throughout the house, using an 8 pack for a 8 room house. Basically 1 per room. They're very small and easily hidden, as no one wants to advertise their pest problems. Also, I have cats and the product is pet safe. Not that I allowed them to play with them, but my fur children did not get sick from the baits being in their home, so the baits are pet safe, in case anyone is wondering. ... show more

  • Worth the Money
Was recommended to try these from my property manager and they work like a charm. Those little ants no longer come across these parts!

  • Works well to fight ants
I seem to get ants every summer no matter how diligent I am cleaning up food and crumbs. I put out ant traps in April hoping to preemptively prevent an ant invasion. I don’t remember the brand I bought, but the traps stopped being effective by the end of June. I bought the Raid traps hoping they’d work more effectively than the old traps I put out in April. The Raid traps have been down about a week and I’m definitely seeing a difference. I have only seen a random ant here or there, and they are no longer swarming my cat’s food bowl. Previously I was having to clean out and relocate the cat’s food almost daily because the ants kept finding it. ... show more

  • It Really Does Work!!!
I was not even going to buy this one based on all the negative reviews. Fire Ants were invading our kitchen and I have been spraying Ortho and plugging any tiny hole I could find for days now. Oh and they don't bite they Sting my kids has huge swelled up red marks from these mean ants. I went looking for something that would work reading all the reviews. I actually ordered 3 different ant bait stations these from Raid, the Terro and the Amdro. I read and none really said they worked for Fire Ants some said they did not but I felt I had to just try everything I could. So these Raid bait stations arrived first and the other 2 were a going to take a few more days to arrive. So of course I put the Raid bait stations out as soon as they came. I put them in the corners of the cabinets and since these ants had a train line up and down my counters I put them right on the counter in the path they were taking. At first the ants went around the bait stations totally ignoring them. I was worried thinking the reviews were right what a waste. But after a few hours there were a few ants on the bait stations, hope. Then after several hours more and more ants on the bait stations. By the next day the ants were all over the bait stations. The Raid bait was working as the ants were going in and out. My son said something very funny, he is looking at the bait stations and he looks at me and says "to the ants that is like Mc D's it taste good but slowly kills you". So here we are just over 48 hours after the bait stations were first put down and no more ants on any counters. Inside the cabinets there are still a few ants but they are clearly wondering drunk and dying. So seems the Raid killed the ants before the other bait stations even arrived. I am glad I decided to take a chance on these Raid bait stations after reading all the bad reviews because they solved my problem in under 3 days. So don't expect to put them down and like magic ants just run right in. It will take some time for a few ants to make it into the bait stations. Then you have to wait for those ants to signal other ants that hey this taste good come get some. Give it some time this takes a few days to see results, you have to let them take the poison back to the nest and then for it to get distributed to all. ... show more
