  • Super light , great price !
Size: 12 Inch
I needed a light weight chain saw to do limb work around the house . I didn't need an expensive commercial saw for occasional use , so I picked out this one . Saw came very well packed in double box . Very easy to assemble . Great visible color and perfect 12" bar size for me . I spent over an hour trying to get this saw to start and idle . Not till I adjusted the hi and low carburetor adjustment screws did I get this saw to start and stay running ! Once I did make those adjustments the saw ran great . Cut thru hardwood with ease . Very impressed with performance so far . ... show more

  • Runs and cuts great
Size: 12 Inch
It isn’t a heavy made saw, but it’s great for the price. It’s user friendly with plenty of power for its size. I have now used it a lot, and it’s flawless so far. This thing starts and runs better than any saw I ever had, and I’ve had a bunch in my 70 years. I now have two stihls, 1 echo, and 1 Husqvarna. It now is my go to saw for the small to medium stuff. ... show more

  • Nice saw for small jobs
Size: 12 Inch
So far the saw starts easy, runs and idles great, and cuts small stuff with ease. Bogs down on hardwood over 8" but for limbing along roads and trails and cleaning up small brush and trees it does the job at less than 1/3 the price of name brand. So far so good.

  • Good little saw
Size: 12 Inch
Is this a great saw? It is for the money. This is not a $700 arborist saw. Don't think it'll be one. It's just the compact size of one. But it's a very effective, lightweight, top handle chainsaw. Plastics are lower quality (don't beat it around or toss it on the ground). It's underpowered. And the chain that comes with it is terrible (after 5 cuts I threw it away because it kept binding at the connections to the links). So I picked up a Oregon chain for it. That really helped it out. This little guy will cut (and cut well) if you let it cut at its pace. Don't rush it. It's not meant to do that. It's not a racing saw. It does have adjustable bar oil output. That's a cool feature. And a small felling dog which helps it bite when you need it too. It has all the tools you need for the initial setup and tuning the carb. I don't think I'll be using the fuel bottle that came with it. And the little flat head screwdriver has a "flag" sticking off one side if it to help you see how much your actually turning the jet and idle screws. The agility is where this thing is truly awesome. I used it in my neighbor's back yard to clear some small stuff. I was previously using my modified Stihl MS261 for that. I'll leave my MS261 in the case and grab this little guy for these tasks from now on. This thing pops off at the 3rd pull at full choke (cold start). Then normally starts the 2nd pull on half choke and runs like a champ. I ran it for about 25 to 30 minutes letting it work some (not wanting to really push it hard until it's broken in), shut it down, waited 5 minutes, and tried to restart it. Fired right back up on the second pull. The manual says 25:1 ratio for gas/oil mix. But the top of the saw says 35:1. I'll put in my own mix and see what happens (top tier ethanol free gas with octane boost and FD rated 2 cycle oil). That's what all my other equipment gets. And the people having trouble putting the clutch cover on is because you must have the chain brake off before you can put the cover on. The chain brake won't fit over the clutch if it's in the "on" position. I'm very happy snagging this little saw. I've been running chainsaws for 20 years (homeowner and pro saws). This little thing is fun. I was having a great time in my neighbor's back yard with it. And my neighbor was happy to have that stuff cut. So we were both smiling because if this little guy. ... show more

  • Excellent little saw!
Size: 12 Inch
This little top handle arborist saw is excellent for the small yard doing trimming jobs. Very light weight and plenty of power for home use. The first use for me was trimming 6” diameter live oak branches. Chewed through them with no issues. Easy to assemble and blade is sharp out of the box. Hard to beat the value. ... show more

  • Surprisingly good little saw!
Size: 12 Inch
There were some quirks when it first arrived: the chain tensioner was stuck and the carburetor was out of tune. The tensioner took a bit to figure out that it was rubbing on the plastic cover. I shaved the plastic a tiny bit with a razor blade and the problem was solved. I live at high altitude, so I am no stranger to carbs needing adjustments. Within 5 minutes I had it idling and revving happily. Ran rich, with heavy oil mix for the first handful of tanks, then leaned it out and wow did it wake up after break-in. I used it to trim enormous quantities of cottonwood trees without any problem aside from the occasional carb adjustment as the engine loosened up. I purchased this saw expecting it to be worth it's price, but was surprised that it actually holds its own quite well! If you need a small chainsaw and have the mechanical know-how to tolerate the quirks, this is an amazingly good deal! ... show more
