Never thought I’d say this, but—it’s too firm! I never imagined those words would come out of my mouth, but it really is like sleeping on a soft rock. I’ve had to use an additional, softer pillow on top just to tone down the firmness a little bit. That said, I still kind of like it overall. One thing I really appreciate is how well it fills a queen-size pillowcase—absolutely no room to spare! I bought another brand's foam pillow, and that one rattles around inside the pillowcase like I threw in a couple of socks and a roll of quarters. Not this one! They definitely made a big, solid pillow that lives up to its promise. Highly recommend it to anyone that loves firm pillows and does not like to hit their head on the backboard of the bed (and not in a good way either as a cheap $10 feature pillow does does to you, or my Ex.) ... show more

This pillow is very comfy and squishy. It has the "cool" side, which feels great, and provides that cool spot at night when I'm feeling warm. I've had many cool pillows over the years, and this one is as good as all the others. It is longer than a standard pillow- so we put a king-size pillowcase on it - even though that was a little too big. I took off a star because this is slightly overpriced. I got rid of my old memory foam pillow because I had it for a long time and it kinda creeped me out. Ever since, I’ve had trouble finding another pillow that is comfortable for my neck and shoulders and doesn’t constantly wake me up. My hubby saw this pillow and ordered it for me. It came rolled up (as a lot of memory foam sleep products do). It didn’t take long at all for it to pop up to full size, literally minutes. It did have a chemical smell on it, so I let it sit for a couple of days before using it. Once the smell faded, and I was able to sleep on it, I was quite pleased. It has two sides to it, and the one is a cooling side. That is the side that I prefer to sleep on. It’s amazing how cool it really is compared to the other side. I was able to actually sleep through the night with this pillow, so that is amazing. Only time will tell how long it holds up to regular use, but as of right now, I am very happy with this pillow. ... show more

This pillow is just like the pillows that Costco used to sell. They were magic, and then the company decided to start cutting costs and using a different, less high quality foam. Ever since then I've been on the hunt for something similar, since it's the only pillow that works with my highly sensitive neck. I get regular spasms in my neck, and haven't had one since using this pillow the last few weeks. It's really excellent. As it comes shrink wrapped, you'll want to give it time to expand and off-gas. I like the cool side of this pillow and I like how well this pillow supports my head when sleeping. I let it sit for a few days to reshape to the original size since it was vacuum sealed. I like how the outer case can be removed and washed too. Upon inspecting the pillow I saw there are two separate foam pieces, one is blue and one is white. The blue one is the "cool" side and there actually is a difference when sleeping on it. If you are in the market for a new pillow I would recommend this one. I really like this pillow. I struggle with funding pillows that are supportive enough without being too firm. I was surprised yet excited that this one works so well. I am not entirely sold on the "cooling" aspect but it definitely isn't an issue. For reading in bed, this pillow is fantastic. However, I don’t care for the stiffness for sleeping. It is memory foam and starts comfortable, but lack the movement with shifting in your sleep.
