I have the worst time finding a good pillow. I'm a side sleeper, I have old neck pains that come back frequently, and I always struggle to find the balance between supportive but soft. After trying this out for a couple of weeks, it hits the mark for me. At first, I thought it might be too soft, even though I got the tall version. (For the record, I am only 5'8", but I am heavy with wide shoulders). But the texture of it is so bouncy that it does a good job of being soft but still supportive. I sink into it, which I love, but the latex is springy and "fills in the gaps". As for the cooling claims, I do not find it to be super cooling, but it also is not too hot. It's cool when you first lie on it but it does heat up after a while. I will probably try a more cooling pillowcase than the one I currently use and see if that prolongs the cool effect. Overall, I've been sleeping well on it. I do not have to adjust it in the middle of the night since it bounces back and does not bunch up or get lumpy. I will report back if that changes over time, but for now, I think it was worth the high price. ... show more

This pillow.... it's weird. Weird because it isn't a fluffy pillow, yet it stays fluffy and it isn't dense like a memory foam pillow but it's clearly made of the same sort of stuff. I would never normally buy a $150 pillow but I tried one in a shop and you immediately think 'Wow! That's a nice pillow!' It exudes quality.... Still... $150. For a PILLOW... But my girl has bad neck and so I pulled the trigger. Ain't no way she's getting one and not me so $300 later and these purple pillows arrive. As in literally, purple. I gotta admit I struggled.... I mean it's good but $150 good? 6 weeks later, yes it's $150 good. My neck feels better, it's kinda weird coz it both supports AND you kinda sink into it.... stays fairly cool so that's nice. I’m 64. When you’ve had migraines for more than 2/3 of your life, you will try anything. This is a wonderful, high-end pillow. It’s cool and soft and doesn’t need refluffing after a few hours. I probably should’ve ordered the flatter one because I sleep on both sides and my back. It’s a little tall when I sleep on my back. I read about these pillows and despite the price, I had to try it, since pillows are so important. It arrived quickly and had no odor at all. I first got the medium but found it too thin. I sleep on my side mostly and was afraid that tall would be hard on my neck. I exchanged it for tall, and it is significantly higher, but the pillow gives enough that it is not an issue. It's extremely comfortable. I don't have issues with hot pillows, so can't comment on that. It does not feel like gel. It does not feel like memory foam. I've tried those both and did not like them. This feels like a cloud. It is supportive but soft-hard to describe. It's unlike anything I've tried before. I've read that some people find that it doesn't last long. If that happens I will write a follow up. For now I am extremely pleased and I think it was worth the money if it lasts a few years. Again, there was absolutely no odor, as some have described.     • Comfortable pillow but very short lifetime

The pillow is great and comfortable at first. It takes a few nights to get used to the gel like feeling, but it's really supportive and rounds well around your neck. It doesn't run hot at night, but it doesn't have the cool sensation you get from cooling foam. Anyhow, I bought the king tall in May 22, and as of today Feb 24, I can say that the pillow is entirely not usable anymore. Around the 1 year time frame, the gel like feeling started to fade quickly, few months after the first year, the pillow started to get flat at night. I wake up and it's completely lost its shape. I fluff it up and it's goes back to the original shape but without the support. Don't expect to get more than 1 year and few months of good support. For $200 a pillow I expected a bit longer usage time. They know very well why their warranty is only for 1 year. Kind of deceiving ... show more
