I have the worst time finding a good pillow. I'm a side sleeper, I have old neck pains that come back frequently, and I always struggle to find the balance between supportive but soft. After trying this out for a couple of weeks, it hits the mark for me. At first, I thought it might be too soft, even though I got the tall version. (For the record, I am only 5'8", but I am heavy with wide shoulders). But the texture of it is so bouncy that it does a good job of being soft but still supportive. I sink into it, which I love, but the latex is springy and "fills in the gaps". As for the cooling claims, I do not find it to be super cooling, but it also is not too hot. It's cool when you first lie on it but it does heat up after a while. I will probably try a more cooling pillowcase than the one I currently use and see if that prolongs the cool effect. Overall, I've been sleeping well on it. I do not have to adjust it in the middle of the night since it bounces back and does not bunch up or get lumpy. I will report back if that changes over time, but for now, I think it was worth the high price. ... show more

This pillow.... it's weird. Weird because it isn't a fluffy pillow, yet it stays fluffy and it isn't dense like a memory foam pillow but it's clearly made of the same sort of stuff. I would never normally buy a $150 pillow but I tried one in a shop and you immediately think 'Wow! That's a nice pillow!' It exudes quality.... Still... $150. For a PILLOW... But my girl has bad neck and so I pulled the trigger. Ain't no way she's getting one and not me so $300 later and these purple pillows arrive. As in literally, purple. I gotta admit I struggled.... I mean it's good but $150 good? 6 weeks later, yes it's $150 good. My neck feels better, it's kinda weird coz it both supports AND you kinda sink into it.... stays fairly cool so that's nice.     • Excellent pillow, but still gets warmer than preferred

Let me start off by saying that this is, overall, an amazing pillow. I would give it 5 stars hands down if it would stay cooler than it does, and if the outer cover could be washed by itself without the Purple material. Don't get me wrong - I still use it every night - I just wish it stayed cooler and was easier to clean. The support is fantastic; the hard part is probably in deciding which loft size you prefer without having the pillow in front of you. I got the tall loft, and it works great on my side, and is just barely enough laying flat for my preferences, but I tend to like being propped up a bit - your mileage may vary there. The material is delightfully squishy, yet firm - the same stuff as the mattresses, in a hex grid all around, stuffed in a breathable cover that zips closed around a foam core. Note: as I mentioned above, the entire enclosure is what zippers around the foam core - you can't remove just the fabric cover part to wash it, so cleaning is a bit more challenging. Give it a few days for the smell to fully dissapate - they recommend 24 hours I think, but it took a few days. Didn't impact sleeping that I noticed, just FYI. ... show more

    • The Best Pillow Ever… Yay!

I find this “ Purple Pillow” to be the best pillow ever out on the market… I was skeptical due to the price.. Got mine on sale and it was still expensive for a pillow.. I hesitated to buy it but told myself I have 100 days to return it so I took that chance…I absolutely love this pillow… The best purchase I’ve ever made when purchasing a pillow.. I have very bad neck and headache issues for the past 26/years… I was in an auto accident which had injured my neck and lower back.. I’ve had two neck surgeries and one lower back surgery.. The surgeries did help but a few years later my bad issues with it comes back… With my 2nd neck surgery ( Cervical Fusion ) my dr had to put hardware in it.. It’s pretty screwed up… Been dealing with the most excruciating headaches every day of my life.. I’m in pain management and I do get the Steroid injections and they don’t help but I try and so do my dr’s… They are doing their best to help me… Since I made purchase with this awesome “ Purple Pillow “ I’ve noticed that I’m not in anymore pain with my head and neck after a few months since I’ve had this pillow.. I have Cervical Stenosis and it was affecting the base up to the back of my head… The pain had been the worst pain ever and I dealt with it every day of my life.. Not sure if my last steroid injection helped my pain or if it is the “ Purple Pillow” but my pain is completely gone …. My dr told me that he’s going to inject me with one more steroid injection and if it doesn’t help me that he’s going to send me to a Neurosurgeon… Would be my 3rd neck surgery… I’m very confident that this awesome “ Purple Pillow” has helped my neck pain and my excruciating headaches… I’m waking up in the mornings for the past month and a half and no more pain.. Yay! This Pillow is so comfortable and I love how it keeps cool.. I’ve always lived a cool pillow and sheets.. It helps me sleep better… I also suffer from insomnia badly.. I’ve gone up to 3 nights in a row without any sleep and it’s very agitating and when you’re tired and in excruciating pain and since I’ve had this pillow I’m sleeping every night for the past month and a half.. It takes some time for this pillow to help you with these issues but I also believe it depends on the persons issues..Is this pillow expensive? It’s very expensive for a pillow but I took the chance on purchasing it.. I’m very very happy I made the decision on buying it… It’s worth every hard earned dollar that I’ve made… Absolutely no regrets … Oh by the way, I got the standard medium pillow … I bought one for my husband for a Christmas gift.. He was excited when he opened it up.. He loves the pillow too. He doesn’t have back problems nor does he suffer from headaches … he is getting a better nights sleep every night.. I highly recommend this pillow to anyone especially those who suffer from neck problems and bad headaches… Hopefully soon I’ll be making purchase for the mattress in hopes it will help my lower back.. Have hardware in this area too.. Lumbar Stenosis including other issues going on in it.. I’m hooked on the purple products …. ... show more
