These shears do exactly for what I purchased them to do. The pruner is great for small twigs and thicker stems on plants. The scissor snips are perfect for cutting off flowers and thinner stems. Neither of these are meant for branches but merely twigs and stems! They are exactly what I intended them for and the price is great for their quality. I wouldn't say either is heavy duty but at the very least medium duty. They're definitely not light duty when used for what they are intended. ... show more
