  • Q.C. needs to do better
Sound was good and looks really good. The frets needed work though. Had a buzzing sound on strings and on the amp so I inspected the electronics and there was a bad solder on the 3way switch. Its at the luthier now for a set up and bone nut and locking tuners as well as push pull tone knobs being added.Im gonna keep it but just know if you get this guitar it may need some work.Im putting around 350$ into it. ... show more

  • 5 stars to 1 star for terrible 'warble' sound.
I initially gave this 5 stars but just noticed a terrible 'warbling' sound inconsistent tone on the high strings above the 12th fret! Sound goes in and out and varies in tune and I plan to change out pickups and strings and adjust intonation because of it. If these things solve the issue, I will update rating but, for now, 1 star remains. Disappointed in my first PRS. APRIL 2024 UPDATE: It's pretty terrible. Intonation seems fine but 'tuning' changes all over fretboard. You can get an open E chord to sound ok but if you take that same chord formation and move it up the fretboard each chord sounds off--it is like each chord you play needs to be tuned differently. Frustrating. ... show more
