  • These work great
These were an improvement over my factory ones. They seemed to have lifted the rear like an inch or so. They were not real easy or real difficult to install. They say don’t rip the strap but you have to for it to line up then I used a lo pro car jack with a 2x6 scrap piece of wood to guide it into the hole and a flat head screw driver as well. I also used my impact wrench to loosen it and sprayed it with wd-40 to help loosen it. Took me about 45 mins to do it by myself I would recommend them. ... show more

  • Value part
May not be the best heaviest shock but for value it's new shocks on my 2011 1500 sierra and the old was well overdue to be replaced. These shocks had strong pressure as soon as I cut the straps I already had top bolted up i was ready to push the lower bolt though as it came down. One side did pass the bolt hole half way and it was a pain the push it in enough to get bolt through so that tells me these shocks are going to proform well. ... show more

  • Easy install, like OEM
The Monroe Reflex was an easy install on a stock 2014 silverado.

  • Good shock
I installed these to replace old shocks. They seem to have changed my truck's handling. The ride is pretty good, not quite as smooth as it was before. These are a bit stiffer and don't handle turns as well, but when truck has a load or when towing a trailer it doesn't squat as much either. So I gave up smooth ride and unloaded handling for better towing and hauling. Since I don't haul and tow as much as I used to, I'd rather have it like it was, however the old ones had 180,000 plus miles on them. They were Monroe's as well. ... show more

  • Good shocks for the price.
Need new shocks because the factory Z71 ranchos where horrible when carrying a load, but fine empty. These are good shocks for the price, providing a smoother ride for me when hauling a trailer or load in the bed of my truck.

  • Smooth ride,easy install
Purchased these shocks to replace my OEM shocks on my 2013 Silverado. Removal of old shocks and install of new ones was very easy. 2 bolts per shock. Recommend spraying the bolts with WD40 or similar product a few days prior to removing the bolts. This will make it easier to remove the bolts. Good videos on You Tube for anyone that has install questions. Ride feels like new. Good DIY project. Highly recommend. ... show more

  • Purchased for 2007 GMC Sierra
Bought 2 of these for my 2007 GMC Sierra Z71 4x4 1500.Installation could have gone better for me. Learned the hard way to not cut the nylon strap compressing the shock until the top is bolted and your ready to let the shock expand to the bottom holes. Ended up using my floor jack without a grip pad to push the extended shock back up to let it back down into the bolt holes. Overall, I'm glad I purchased a set. Original AC Delco shock on drivers side had certainly failed on the drivers side at 130000 miles. ... show more

  • Happy customer
Installed these on a customer's truck. Spoke with him a week later and he said the ride was much better. He was happy which in turn made me happy.
