  • Excellent

Bought this to add to my guitar collection and must say is a much better quality guitar over some of my other guitars. Of course first off I have never had a guitar with a Floyd Rose bridge before and after getting it went to put new strings on it. Had to do some looking into the whole Floyd Rose Bridge first and then after doing a couple strings I started to get the hang of it. After replacing the strings and then playing around with getting everything correct and in tune it had held tuning pretty well and sounds really great. Though not to thrilled with the Floyd Rose locking nuts on the neck since I tend to rub against them when using 1 and 2nd fret but I just need to adjust my playing to it. ... show more

Pretty happy with the entire experience from finding the exact item I was searching for to the purchasing process. The item arrived quickly and it was well packed, no tears or any part of the box was disturbed. It is a brand new item as described.... I use Amazon alot and this was one of the biggest items I've purchased and I am always concerned about shipping bigger items, I have no worries now. ... show more

  • This puts the heavy in heavy metal!!
Style: Right-Handed
Wonderful guitar, but it’s heavy!! Make sure you have a good strap to support it if you plan on playing for an extended period. This was my Floyd Rose Special tremolo bridge and it’s incredibly difficult for a beginner. Watched the videos online and read the instructions but was still not able to get it setup correctly. Took it to my local music shop and had it tuned up and now it’s ready to rock! The factory strings had snapped in the box and had to be replaced. Finish was flawless and not a mark on her! Overall great value for an intermediate level guitar,. Would not recommend it to a novice due to the Floyd Rose bridge, but if your a Metallica fan, it’s worth learning! ... show more

  • Great guitar
Style: Right-Handed
Only problem I had, which is not really an issue, is action is super high and intonation is wayyy off from factory. But, I always bring my new guitars to a Luthier to fix this. After I got it back, ooooooh man what a dream! I frickin love this guitar! Im not a fan of the stock pickups but they are do-able. Guitar arrived in perfect condition, no scratches or bumps, no defects. Just ordered some EMG Bone Breakers to switch pickups with. I would definitely recommend this guitar for any hard core Kirk Hammett fans on a budget. Go for it! ... show more

  • I love it
Style: Right-Handed
All the reviews I watched of this guitar were very positive so I bit the bullet and took a chance and I'm glad I did. It's beautiful, sound good, feels good in the hands. Just what I wanted in a first guitar. Also the locks on the neck and bridge do actually help the guitar stay in tune longer, if you enjoy playing a lot of bendy Pink Floyd style music with tremolo. If anyone has any good recommendations for good pick-ups to upgrade to let me know. I hear the EMGs are good, but I'm wondering if there's any better options available or if EMG is the way to go. ... show more

  • Shambling Mockery of a Guitar
Style: Right-Handed
I had high expectations for this guitar. As a teenager I dreamed of owning something like this. As a middle aged adult it turned out to be a nightmare. The first thing you notice about this guitar is it is light as a feather. Very low quality. The whammy bar stripped out and won't stay in the position you want. It just hangs there like pulling in a carp on a fishing line, worse than a wet boot. The pick up selector failed. It needs to be fixed, there is no clicking between switching pick ups it just slides. Trifling. What's the worse thing about it is the block was so cheap it stripped, when the action was adjusted the whole tremolo system just popped off, strings and all. It was like pop goes the weasel and blame esp and Kirk Hammett for even putting his initials on this shambling mockery of a guitar. It is going to cost me approximately $200 additional dollars to what I originally paid for it to get it fixed. Thank my HP I bought an Epiphone Les Paul Standard also. I love that guitar and if someone stole it I would be on death row. I'll do a review of that as well. It is everything the KH 202 isn't. Great. ... show more
