This thing is simple to use. The first time you may need to get accustomed to the dial for the gas flow. The first time that I used it, I started a wet stick pile on fire. My old method of lighter and cardboard or paper would not have worked. This thing generates a really nice flame with lots of heat. Not sure if I would want an even longer hose or tube on the end. Hooked up to a 20# tank which is not ergonomic but have plans for a contraption to hook to a hand cart. Very happy with this product. ... show more

Easy to use just turn gas down on handle an it fires right up. Looks durable. Just wish it was about a foot or two longer. I'm little over 6 foot an I have to bend down to use it. Wife's around 5 foot an says it's fine for her. So far that's the only thing I see a issue o

    • Good Product -- I used it to burn Foxtail weeds
My front yard is small stone scaped and I had a bunch of Foxtail weed growing between the rocks. Foxtail is almost impossible to remove, espesically once it creates seeds. I tried pulling it out but it returns in a few weeks. I used this flame thrower and it worked great. It burned the plants and seeds and they have not come back this year. Great Product. (BTW - Foxtail is very dangerous to animals, dogs get the barbs in their nose and paws.) ... show more

The only thing that I don't understand is why you put a yellow and light blue handle on something that people have such dirty hands to use.
