    • Unreliable product dimensions. Re-ordered the same product 5 weeks apart - got two different size (profile) pots
I first ordered this pot (package of 5 / capacity 5 gallons) on March 3, 2018 and received pots with bottom diameter x top diameter x height = 11" x 13" x 9" This is what I wanted and what I received. This was the Go Pro 5 gallon pot and there was a sticker on the bottom noting that it was made in China. I re-ordered this same pot (package of 5/ capacity of 5 gallons) on April 7, 2018 and received pots with the dimensions 10" x 12" x 10". What I received was a higher profile pot mad by Pro Cal. I wanted the lower profile pot. So I don't know if Amazon made a vendor switch or the vendor shipped a different pot than the first order. ... show more

I ordered these because they said 5 gallons.When I got them,I realized they were the same size I had,not bigger,so I asked to return them,reason,I ordered the wrong thing,so I paid the return postage,almost $9.00.I was curious about this later,so I filled up a 5 gallon bucket I have from Home depot w/ dirt & poured it into a same sized pot & when I had poured about 2/3's of it in it was full over the top.There's no way these should be called 5 gaiions,maybe 3.75 gallons @ BEST,I feeled like I got had on this deal.Don't buy them thinking their 5 gal,because they're not ... show more

Got these for container gardening, since the deer, ground hogs, squirrels, raccoons, and other mammals devastate my in-ground garden many times over the summer. These are a bit thicker than I was expecting, better quality than many pots I end up with when I buy plants from a nursery. My only complaint is that they are a bit smelly in a plasticy, chemical way, but they are outside pots and probably will air out fairly fast in my greenhouse. Excellent pots! Heavy duty, strong and of a good size, but easy to move around. They came in a nifty little sack too. If I have a few extra bucks, I think I will order another set to be ready for next years plantings. I planted a small (3" pot) butterfly bush in one about 3-4 weeks ago, and it has quadrupled in size! Decent weather and a good pot to grow in, along with some great garden soil. I wonder if these can be spray painted? I have one left, might try to spray paint it. ... show more
