This stand is very easy to put together and great quality. My only issue is that in order for the tire to sit securely in both holders on the base, I have to balance the actual seat, not the seat post, on the U shaped holder on the vertical arm, which makes the whole set up slightly less stable. I have a Trek hybrid with a size small frame, which is a pretty common bike, so I was surprised that this stand is just a little too big. Yes, I know I could extend the seat post, but then I would have to re-adjust it every time I ride my bike and I wanted a stand that was quick and easy to use. But the bottom line is that it is doing its job - my bike is off the floor and out of the way, and it doesn't seem likely to fall over. But if the position of the tire holders or the angle of the vertical arm could be adjusted even a little, this would be perfect. ... show more

I was having a hard time choosing between this rack, and the various other vertical storage racks. Specifically, the BikeNook & the Storrabocks. This one is pretty basic. But after examining all the product pics, I decided to go with this one. Sadly, as with most of these vertical stand-up racks, it does not work with full length mudguards. This was fine by me as I was looking for an excuse to get rid of the nmudguards anyway. But the rack also does not work well with rear racks. Although I'm happy to get rid of my fenders, I'm unwilling to get rid of my rear rack. The BikeNook version has an attachment that supposedly allows it to work with racks. However, reviews seem to imply that it's not really a great solution. ... show more

I've been using this as a space saver. I have a very small space to use for my hobbies, one of those being a hybrid bike. The footprint of this stand with the bike is much smaller and as expected by the pictures in this product description.
