  • Surprisingly solid bike storage with style
Style: 2 Bike Gravity Pole Rack
I've been using this rack for over a week now and have decided it is a solid and surprisingly stylish solution for storing two bikes in a limited space. Pros: - Very stable. Whether you have one bike on the rack or two, this bike rack does not seem to want to tip. One thing you can do if you experience instability is to widen the grip of the arms on your bike frame. This moves your bikes' centers of gravity closer to the wall, making the entire arrangement less likely to tip outward. The bike rack also comes with a strap that you can use to anchor the rack to the wall at the top with a screw/bolt and washer, although I have found it unnecessary so far. - The silicone sleeves on the cupped portions of the arms are thick, supple, and feel like they should last. - Fairly small footprint: the feet come out about 20 inches, while the whole unit is about 7 feet tall. My 58-cm road bike with extra wide handlebars has no problems with wall clearance on the handlebars. It seems to me like it would accommodate up to a larger mountain bike without issue. - The steel arms feel very solid, and stay put very well once you set them. - The rack is visually simple, yet stylish enough to let into your living room. - Super easy installation: Any noob with a Phillips screwdriver and two hands could assemble this rack in under 15 minutes. Cons: - Obviously, if you have cables that pass under your top tube, you risk minor paint scratching as the cables are pressed against the frame. It would be nice if the silicone gloves were engineered to allow the cables to hang freely beneath the frame, like on some other racks. - This bike rack, while solid, does not feel like it was made to hold multiple heavy bicycles. A couple of old steel-tube road bikes should not be a problem, but if you are hanging up a Big Surly tandem, or some other 40- to 50-pound beast, you will want to look elsewhere. - The arms are not necessarily easy to reposition. Moving them up or down on the spine of the rack requires a bit of force, but once they are set, they don't slip, which is a fair trade in my opinion. Pro-tip: To avoid cross-threading make sure to start the screws with your fingers first, and then use the screwdriver to tighten them. 2-Year Update: I stand by my review 100%. The product has held up well to daily use with no discernable wear. ... show more

  • Surprisingly great!
Style: 2 Bike Gravity Pole Rack
Amazingly great! So simple and easy to assemble. Nothing installed in the wall. Sleek and small footprint. And holds my two bikes up and out of the way. Exactly what I needed. Surprisingly sturdy, and never slips forward. (I've used it for over a year now.) Also, as a bonus, the company sent me replacement arms (for free!) when the rubber started splitting on one of mine (you can contact the company here: designbydelta.com). By the way, the rubber on the arms is gray, not red. ... show more

  • Perfect
Style: 2 Bike Gravity Pole Rack
I love this bike rack! It is such a good deal and I love that I didn’t have to drill into the wall. It feels sturdy enough for our two bikes which weigh a little over 50lbs total. Some of the reviews on here are acting as though this bike rack should be able to hold heavier bikes and because it can’t they are docking stars. It is clearly displayed that if you need it to support more weight you need to buy the more expensive and sturdy holder. This rack can hold up to 60lbs. ... show more

  • It looks flimsy, but it is sturdy and stable enough

  • Decent Bike Rack with Some Limitations
Style: 2 Bike Gravity Pole Rack
I recently purchased the Delta Cycle 2 Bike Rack Garage Storage, and while it serves its purpose reasonably well, there are a few limitations that prevent me from fully recommending it. One of the significant advantages of this bike rack is its ease of installation. Unlike other bike racks that require drilling or mounting hardware, this gravity wall bike stand simply leans against the wall, making it convenient for those who don't want to damage their walls or go through a complex installation process. It offers a stable and secure storage solution for two bikes, helping to declutter the garage or any other storage space. The design of the bike rack is straightforward and functional. It securely holds the bikes in place, preventing them from tipping over or falling. The rack's adjustable arms allow for accommodating different sizes and styles of bikes, which is a convenient feature. Additionally, the rack's compact size does not take up much space, making it suitable for smaller garages or storage areas. However, there are a few limitations with this bike rack that should be considered. Firstly, the rack's stability relies heavily on the weight of the bikes. If the bikes are not positioned properly or if there is an imbalance in weight distribution, the rack can become unstable and prone to tipping. This can be a concern for those with heavier or bulkier bikes. Another drawback is that the rack's design does not allow for easy access to the bikes. To remove or store a bike, you have to lift it over the top bar of the rack, which can be cumbersome and potentially scratch the bike's frame. This inconvenience can be frustrating, especially if you frequently use your bikes and need quick and easy access to them. Lastly, the rack's build quality is adequate but not outstanding. While it holds the bikes securely, the materials used feel somewhat flimsy. The plastic parts, in particular, give a less durable impression, and I'm unsure about their long-term durability. In summary, the Delta Cycle 2 Bike Rack Garage Storage is a decent solution for storing bikes in a garage or storage area without drilling or mounting hardware. Its easy installation and adjustable design are commendable. However, the limitations regarding stability, access to the bikes, and build quality prevent it from earning a higher rating. If you have lighter bikes and can overlook these limitations, this bike rack may suffice for your needs. Otherwise, I would recommend exploring alternative options that offer more stability and easier access to your bikes. ... show more
