The Surge F-4 Flo Series 4-Gauge 2,000-Watt Amp Wiring Kit includes everything needed to correctly install a mobile audio amp. With an extra foot of power wire, pre-terminated power cables and ultraflexible wire, the Flo Series Kits are designed to perform at an optimal level. Most power cables in a 4 gauge kit have a conductor cross area of 15.14 sq mm while this one uses 21.61 sq mm for more current power to your amp. This will deliver the best quality music your electronics can deliver. The cables are made with CCA (aluminum + 10% copper) and incredible flexible matte PVC jacket. In addition this kit has a 100% true copper twisted RCA cable to eliminate engine whine.

Honestly special spade connector for the ground. Isn’t that convenient. Had to modify it to make it work because the holes are too small for the bolts you were going to ground onto. And why does everybody think a two or 3 foot ground cable is enough. Besides the ground, everything else seems high-quality. Ended up buying a 3 foot RCA because I used an LCi converter. ... show more

Real nice kit. I installed car audio and home A/V for a living back in the day. Lots of products out there that are cheap and poorly made and some out there that are well made and too expensive. Gotta find the product that works well but doesnt break the bank. This fits right there. Wire and insulation is of good quality. There are fancier, higher priced products available but for conducting a signal or power from point A to point B, this stuff does the trick and is easy to work with. I would have given 5 stars but that ground cable is just too short. I still do car audio installs pretty regular and can only think of a project or two where a ground this short would have actually worked. To complete this particular project, i had to purchase a separate ground cable. The one in this kit looks to be a good quality cable, but the length makes it unusable in many projects. ... show more

Appears and feels like good quality. I am not an expert at electrical wiring so I won't complain/compliment about the core wiring being 100% copper, etc. I deducted 1 star because this kit should have been labeled as a "SUBWOOFER AMP KIT" or "2 CHANNEL AMP KIT" because it comes with only 1 set of RCA cables. Should you need this for a 4 channel amp, you'll have to track down a matching set of RCA cables. Unless it doesn't matter to you that the RCA's do not match in design, color or internal quality of the RCA's. And yes, I did know this prior to purchase, but still think it should be labeled for specific applications. The other problem, where I've deducted another star, is the fuse block design. There are 3 mounting holes at the base, to mount this block to your car. Two of which are directly under the power IN/OUT ends! The third hole is directly under the fuse, in the center of the base. This makes for a BAD design because the IN/OUT positive cable could potentially make contact with the mounting screws, which is mounted to the car, typically to the metal part of the car - that is GROUND. These mounting holes for the screws should ALWAYS be outside and away from the positive cables. For my application, I'll use the center mount and avoid the 2 outside holes, hoping the block will not move, rotate around or worse, the plastic cracks/breaks from engine heat. Using double-side adhesive or tape is ugly and probably won't hold up too long inside the engine bay either. Such a simple design flaw, but a very hazardous flaw that can easily be avoided. Take extra care to keep your power cable wires clean of straying strands! Maybe solder the ends before inserting in the fuse block IN/OUT(?). ... show more
