While using this product, it cleared out the injector nozzles as described, but when doing a power cleanse the printer ases me to replace the maintenance box prior to completing the power cleanse. I had to order one which took additional time to complete. After the maintenance box was replaced the power cleanse was completed and a nozzle checked was done with satisfactory results. I had a printer that was stored in my garage for 3 years. When I went to use it, the magenta jet was completely clogged. I tried cleaning it myself but to no avail. I bought this kit as a last ditch effort. It took two tries but it worked. Follow the directions carefully and it helps to warm up the cleaning fluid before using and let it sit for about an hour to get the real tough clogs. ... show more

First, I want to say that my review isn't based on product quality. I cannot tell you what the quality of it is as I struggled to use the attachments placed in my kit, only to discover that the L-shaped attachment as shown in this image, was NOT and I repeat WAS NOT in my box. Using the attachments were a struggle because some of the pieces simply do not fit upon each other easily. Most of them had to be forced on because they're all rubber so they bend. I could not continue the process of cleaning my printheads as I went inside to clean the pipes and air bubbles out of them, I couldn't even get the attachments on in order to take the air that may be causing my ink to back up. It was disappointing, cleaning this printer has been disappointing. What comes with the kit is a decent amount of cleaning solution, but my ink quality did not improve. Not because the kit is bad but because due to the attachments placed in the kit, and the attachments I didn't receive, I wasn't able to effectively troubleshoot the problem. Now the l-shaped piece is pictured here, however I didn't receive it in my box. All I got was the syringe, the pipe, the yellow piece, and the other fine tip rubber piece, nothing l-shaped came which is what I needed to fix this. So I am disappointed at most. ... show more
