So often with supplements it's a gray area- is it really helping? Is it placebo? Many things have benefits that take quite a while to see changes. But with Pravagen I have noticed a rather startling difference. And my husband and I are still in the first month of use. I put 5 stars for "value for money" simply because I have seen a difference and what price do you put on memory? I am 73 and have the usual senior moments where I know I know something, especially names, and it just will float around just off the screen of my brain and later, when I no longer need it, pop out. I had not really tried to memorize anything for a while but decided I would memorize a few verses of scripture. The verses themselves were not as hard as remembering where they came from. It just would not stick in my memory to a very frustrating degree. Over and over and I would blitz out. Last week I looked at the latest verses I had written out and realized that when I turned away from the page that I could see the entire thing in my brain. And it stayed there. I absolutely could not do that last month. This is a fairly expensive supplement and I had planned to ditch it after the second month if I could not tell a big change. Thought I'd give this a try to see if it would help a bit with my acuity. I took it for the month and really didn't see any results at all. I'm 59 and thinking that I'm not as sharp as I once was and hoped this might help me out. After the first month I didn't see a result, longer term usage might help others, but I'm unwilling to spend the money for further testing. *Oh, it didn't have a "flavor" more of a smell.
