    • Good quality sturdy and soft pillow!
This is a great pillow, it is well constructed and the material on the outside is soft and thick. The tag says 100% microfiber for both the outer and inner portions. Well sewn gussets with piping, it is a pillow that should last much longer than the pillows I usually buy. It appears to be hotel quality to me--this is a more luxurious pillow. It did not take too long to fluff up although it was flat when I opened it. I did not wait the 24 hours suggested but slept on it last night and it is quite comfortable. I tried figuring out exactly what material is inside--if you push it down it will fluff back up on its own. Most pillows I have had I think are just polyester batting and that is only going to last so long. However this is made, I think it will hold out longer. This pillow says that it is washable and dryable as well--I usually don't bother with pillows because the polyester ones, I think will turn out mis shapen if you wash them. I will probably try this one after a while as it seems much sturdier. For the price, this is a great pillow. It is not changing my life, but sure beats the cheap ones I usually get.     • So squishy soft and comfy
I fell asleep instantly when my head hit this pillow last night. It was like laying my cheek onto a cloud. At least what I'd imagine one to feel like. When I woke up I felt more rested than I have in a really long time. I really didn't want to get out of bed though. I just wanted to lay there forever on that little piece of heaven. I reluctantly sat up but couldn't resist the urge to grab the pillow up in my arms and hug it close to my body. I am really gonna have to get another one that I can snuggle in my arms at night. I can honestly say that I've never had a pillow that felt so luxurious. I hope it lasts for a long time. I know some pillows I've had in the past have felt comfortable but after a while they just flattened out and I couldn't bring them back to life. They really weren't nearly this soft so I'm sorta afraid the same thing might happen to this one. I'm going to make sure to strictly follow the care instructions and wash it regularly. I've never really taken the greatest care of my pillows in the past so maybe that's why they lost their fluff, so to speak. Now I've got a really good reason to take better care of one.     • This is a decent pillow - I am impressed!
If you are a pillow snob and just can't find the right pillow then please keep reading, I am as well! To give context, I am a side sleeper and prefer a more dense pillow. I don't need anything to be super extra firm that it doesn't have any give to it but I hate feather pillows or any other material that you "think" is a pillow and when you lay on it for a few moments you are now just laying on your bed because it has gone so flat. I have more pillows in my house than I would like to count because I order pillows hoping for a good night's sleep and I am always disappointed. Left searching for the next pillow to try! Now comes this pillow - and I will say so far so good! To start, it does come rolled up very airtight like many other pillows these days when they are shipped. Once I cut open the plastic and released the seal, this is where I knew we may have found a great pillow. Once the air was released, the pillow started puffing up all by itself without doing anything to it. It wasn't an immediate perfect pillow, but was impressed at how much it came back to life on its own without me doing anything (yet). In previous pillows I have bought, once you release the air they may slightly move, but you have to let it rest and even then they never really puffed up fully. The pillow comes with a little card that tells you how to prep the pillow before use and overall care for it. Step 1 - Slap the pillow, Step 2 - Fluff the Pillow, Step 3 - Wait 24 hours to use! EASY! If you want to get some frustration out, Step 1 is amazing! And it worked - when I first got it I did slap and fluff it for a few minutes and then let it rest. Then would come back to it a bit later and do it again throughout the day. Just to really give it a chance of "being the best pillow it could be"! For other pillows during this stage, I usually notice the filling is lumpy or the pillow just isn't going to be what I expected. This pillow from the start had a consistent feeling over the entire pillow. There weren't any weird lumps or spots that weren't fluffing up. The entire pillow was taking shape in a uniform manner to create a smooth pillow feel. After 24 hours, I can say we have a decent pillow to try out. I did knock it down 1 star just for personal preference of pillow firmness, as I wish it had just a BIT more firmness to it. It's supportive, and feels great to lay on - just wish it had slightly more. I'll probably check this manufacturer and see if they sell a more dense version because the overall performance from the beginning on this pillow is AMAZING compared to other pillows on the market! This pillow arrived very tightly sealed, vacuum packed and double wrapped. There was no odor, and the listing indicated that it was certified free of harmful chemicals. As soon as the vacuum was released, the pillow began to fluff up. As stated in the listing, within 24 to 48 hours it was full and functional. This pillow is very well made, with smooth, silky fabric that is true white. There is a 2 inch gusset. The edges are finished in black cording, giving it the look of top quality hotel pillows. The pillow is soft, but supportive. It is by far more comfortable than the three other pillows I had on my bed prior. I tend to move around a bit, and I can attest to the statement that this pillow can be good for side, stomach or back sleepers, making it more versatile than most. No more need for a different pillow for each position and each sleeper. Everyone loves this pillow! My previous pillows, purchased at an expensive mattress store, turned out to be not washable or dry cleanable! Yuck! This one can be washed in cold water on the gentle cycle and dried on low heat. Yay! And it won't shrink or fade! After trying 3 different pillows and mostly tossing them aside, I have fallen in love with this pillow. Try it and you will agree it's the best! ... show more
