The hardest part is removing the wrapping. After that all was great. It is easy to maneuver, it stretches' length-wise easily (by at least 20%) and you can easily spot clogs.

Tubes made for ferrets do not last long and can become dangerous after a while. I have been looking for a nice durable tube and this one is just perfect. Very flexible, will allow “knots” for the ferrets to get challenged during their race, and heavy enough for them to climb and slide without the tube moving. The only downside is the strong plastic smell but it gets better after a few days, and I suppose will go away after a while. The ferrets love it and like to scratch their back on the inside ridges. Purchased the 6" version as my Leaf Vac has a 7" hose. Used a 7" x 18" HVAC pipe to make connections and a flange to keep the hose from getting sucked into the (picture 3) the OEM hose. Worked perfect, hose is durable, saved a lot of money going with this product.

Before the pipe got stretched out, it’s about 20-30ish feet. After stretching it out and relaxed, it around 40ish feet, 42-43ish. If the 50ft means stretching out with tension, Im quite disappointed. I hope this information helps.
