Features

  • EASY TO USE - Simply strip your wires, insert into the solder sleeve and apply heat. Soldered butt connections are made in seconds.
  • IMPROVED TECHNOLOGY - Lower temperature solder will melt faster and prevent burns in the insulation tubing.
  • WATERPROOF - Heat activated adhesive will seal your connection making it waterproof. Transparent tubing allows to inspect your connection after it is completed.
  • VERSATILE SOLDER SEAL KIT - It includes 110 PCS heat shrink solder butt connectors for wire range 26-10 AWG. Enough to finish multiple wiring projects.
  • HEAT GUN RECOMMENDED - For best results apply heat with a heat gun while continuously rotating a connector. This technique ensures even heat distribution.

  • Perfect, good looking solid joints!
Style: 110 PCS Kit
I don't like crimp connectors and normally use a technique the USN taught me as I trained to be an AE. I use heat shrink and solder the wires and then cover the joint with heat shrink. Most wiring i do is on motorcycles or racing vehicles so a " clean" look and a solid connection is a must, as is a good seal. These are just what the doctor ordered! Using a heat gun, my first joint was perfect. The deal is great. A small amount of patience is needed, but you're looking to make a good joint, right? Time will tell how these hold up but so far I am very pleased with these. ... show more

  • I still like to go a bit extreme and solder the connection ...
Style: 110 PCS Kit
I've only used these on a few connections so far and have yet to see if they stand the test of time but so far they have won me over. Even when I'm not making a critical wire connection on a boat, under the hood of my car, or on my motorcycle, I still like to go a bit extreme and solder the connection then heat shrink it. I want to know I never need to worry about my connection again, whatever it do. These connectors eliminate the need to involve my soldering iron altogether, which makes the process much quicker and less “messy”. I was skeptical at first that the solder in the connector would melt at too low of a temperature, making them useless in an engine compartment, but I find that I need to hold my heat gun on the connector over the solder for a good 4 to 5 seconds before it melts. The prolonged heat doesn’t seem to bother the heat shrink either. These will be my new “go to” connectors for most if the things I wire up! ... show more

  • Makes a butt splice very easy
Style: 50 PCS Kit
I had to use a few for testing. I first tried it with a small heat gun that had only about 300 watts of power. It shrank the heat shrink tubing without burning it. But the solder didn't really melt very good. I finally placed it very close to the heat gun and held it there for 30 seconds and then the solder started to melt. I had to turn the wire around to get more of the solder to melt. I ordered a higher output heat gun. I think the peak power is about 1500 watts. This makes the job much, much quicker and easier. The solder will flow and wick into the wire strands quickly.. The heat shrink plastic part didn't burn. It is a strong connection. Pulling at it with my bare hands the connection didn't pull apart. ... show more

  • Give them a try
Style: 110 PCS Kit
I am a heavy truck mechanic, I have found these to be a quick and easy way to repair wiring. Just a note, give the splice a good chance to cool before doing a tug test as the shrink wrap is weak until it cools and hardens. Will see how well it works in Ohio winters, road salt and calcium chloride corrodes bad splices in a matter of weeks. But so far am very happy with splices. ... show more

  • Nice product!
Style: 110 PCS Kit
I was a little hesitant with buying/using these in place of traditional solder, but I've been pleasantly surprised. I'll use these from time to time, but it's tough passing up a normal solder joint. One thing to note - be careful when using these in a location where there are multiple joints... It is quite easy to unsolder with a low temp material that is used in these connections with only a heat gun. ... show more

  • These are genius
Style: 110 PCS Kit
These things are great! Not only do they do what they advertise by eliminating a step or two, they allow you to heat-shrink your solder connections in tight spaces. It's tough to heat-shrink a solder-connection when you don't have enough room to slide the heat-shrink tubing far enough away as to not shrink it when you make your solder connection from the heat generated by soldering. With these connectors, the heat you apply accomplishes both tasks. Care needs to be used to apply the correct temperature so you don't cook the tubing. Best to start out cooler and go slow. ... show more

  • Exactly what I’ve been looking for!!!
Style: 110 PCS Kit
This is perfect, when you need to replace wires in an engine bay (or anywhere else that you don’t want to spend too much time soldering). I’ve used it fix some frayed and burnt wires in my Celica. I just cut off what I didn’t need and used a little torch to help put some fresh new wires back on. Beats crimping and using a soldering gun to get little work done. Especially in tight spaces. Highly recommended!!! ... show more

Style: 50 PCS Kit
I initially used these for my zero turn mower LED lighting. I purchased a cheap ($15) heat gun at Harbor Freight and it has been melting the internal solder perfectly. Before using these I was using crimp terminal connectors. So far these are much more secure and probably a better connection. The only downside is the connection is pretty much permanent as I haven't tried heating them back up to loosen the solder to remove the old connection. ... show more
