  • They are superb! They did the job.
Size: 50 Style: Zinc
This was the first time I've used purchase and used self-drilling anchors. I have a behind-the-door plastic shoe holder. I didn't want the holder to be visible from the outside. Therefore, originally I hung the holder using 3M hooks. Stupidly, I didn't check the weight allowance and the strips didn't hold. I decided to find a more permanent solution. After doing some YouTube University research, I found that I could use drywall anchors on a hollow door. I was a little apprehensive that these would be too much and tear the hollow door. But to my surprise, it worked! It's been a couple days and they are holding strong! Very happy. ... show more

  • Not Quite Like the Originals
Size: 100 Style: Zinc
These CONFAST drywall anchors are almost identical to the old style drywall anchors sold at hardware stores, with one caveat: The outer flange is slightly more concave, is weaker, and has a tendency to separate from the main body (screw section) when either drilling or carefully hand screwing it into drywall. Although the anchors are similar in appearance, the differences are mostly in weight and strength of the metal used -- the old style are heavier and much more solidly constructed. Well, isn't that the case with a lot of things being manufactured these days? The workaround: It's been my experience to pre-drill when needing to use this type of anchor for accuracy. And that's still the case, however if you want these anchors to be flush with the drywall when you're finished, you must first use a utility knife to cut away any drywall protruding from the drilled hole, and make the drywall surface smooth. Then you screw the anchor into the drywall until it's pretty snug against the wall. It wont be quite flush, but if you continue to screw, it will cause the flange to separate. At this point, I take a small hammer and hit the flange and anchor against the drywall, reshaping the flange to countersink into the drywall. Then I hand screw it in maybe a quarter turn more, but very gently. I had used this box of 100 anchors for remodeling a kitchen pantry with new shelves, and am still seeing that--even with using the method I describe--about three out of ten anchors will separate, tearing the flange off from its base. It's not great, but the best solution I've found for using this brand of anchor. And I haven't been able to locate any other anchors of this type. So, unless the manufacturer chooses to use a better quality metal, that's what we get. Yes, I'll be buying other types of anchors in the future to see how well they compare, but that's money I could've been giving to CONFAST had they produced a top quality product to begin with. ... show more

  • Used to mount monitors to wall
Size: 25 Style: Nylon
These worked great to mount some flush mount vesa mounts for a couple 24 inch monitors to a sheetrock wall. As sturdy as you can get if your going to mount something to sheet rock.

  • They work perfectly
Size: 50 Style: Zinc
These will help hang just about anything. I used them while updating bathroom light fixtures above mirror and they are definitely not going anywhere. I dont know how some people are stripping these out unless they are trying to go through a stud. They are good quality and strong.
