The fit is not perfect, but this adapter will fit and work with the Harbor Freight #56687 Daytona DS300AR 3 Ton Aluminum Jack Stands. The shape of the saddle on the jack stand is not exactly the same as the shape of the slot on the adapter. However, the adapter will easily slide onto the jack stand. Otherwise, is a bit $$$ for a chunk of rubber. But, if you want a pinch weld adapter for a saddle type anything other than a ratchet style, jack stand, there don't seem to be a lot of choices. ... show more

    • Not suitable for what the harbor sells, like for cast iron uprights,only for alum jackstands
They work on aluminum jack stands which are ultra high priced anyway.You are only buying one and not a pair. So if you have aluminum jack stands you need to buy "two" of these. That makes it more expensive. I tend to use scrap cardboard to keep from scratching the "underside" of uni-body cars. Its difficult enough to raise up a uni-body car that sits very low to the ground anyway (majority of import type cars). These look like they are made for the amazon aluminum body jack stands which are rated as 3 tons and sell for $71.00+. Will probably be returning these as I have the cast iron stands. ... show more

As some other reviews have said, it out strange how it does not perfectly fit the cradle of jack. Still worked for me.

    • This saddle adapter fits nicely.
I've read other reviews claiming this saddle doesn't fit. It does fit for the Powerbilt 3000LB jack stand bottle neck combo. IT's not snug fit but does slide on easily. It does need to be tight because it is not going anywhere when be being used. It designed to protect the pinch welds on a car. From I see, it should be just fine. I'd spend the money on it again if necessary. ... show more
