The "blow molded case" is a cheap case with clips that like to fall off. Duct Tape them (broken or not) and call it good enough. The is super light, and does what it says. There was a good sale, so I bought two of them. Both had no issues lifting my Saturn Vue off the ground multiple times. I had no issues slowly dropping the jack with a 1/4 turn of the handle. I even had one supporting the car for 3 days without loosing any pressure/height. I use a 2x4 block of wood against the frame of the car to spread the load (and give an extra 1.5 inch lift). Like most folks... what I do with a jack most of the time is... store it. With their size and weight, these worked great for that. AND they worked great as jacks when I needed it. NOTE: Both jacks went about a 1/2 inch higher on first use, but all subsequent uses were consistently the same height. ... show more

The Jack arrived on time and looks like it’s good quality; however, the case arrived with one fastener broken off. The fastener is very thin material and may not have lasted very long. The inclusion of the case was a determining factor in selecting this jack. Hopefully the jack will work well.

The best feature is the price! Actually cheaper than Harbor Freight! Comes in a really nice compact plastic case which I didn’t expect at all! It’s light weight and great for diy’ers for occasional use. I don’t know about long term reliability, but for my use it’s all I need.

Fortunately I hadn’t had to use this since I bought it, well out of of the return date. Even more fortunately, I still have the jack that came with my car. When it came time to use this jack, while it was easy enough to use. IT DOESNT LIFT MY TOYOTA (sedan) HIGH ENOUGH OFF THE GROUND TO EVEN REMOVE A TIRE. Don’t buy this.
