I was skeptical about 24lbs, but it's plenty. These are more compact than I expected. About the size of a shoebox combined. The weights change super quick and I think the plastic dividers will hold up. I have used these almost every day since I got them. I think they are great and very practical.

I've been using regular dumbells for years, and didn't have all the weights I needed. These are so convenient and take up less space. They are easy to use and adjust between the weight amounts. Very happy with my purchase. Ended up getting the 50lb set for my husband.

Fantastic dumbell set for the money. However, I recommend going with the standard Powerblock set which goes up to 50lbs per dumbell. 24lb per dumbell is easy to outgrow.

Review of 24lb set: First off someone made a review that said their dumbbells only weighed 21lb. I think they forgot the last weight in the box or it was missing one, both of mine came in at 23.9lb. Cons: Plastic piece for weight selection. Works fine but a little worrisome if it were to break. Some movement of the weights in use/rattling. Not a big deal I think it comes with the territory with these kinds of dumbbells but something to note. Pros: 3-24lbs in 3lb increments. This is great, much better than having to go up 5lb each time. The weight selection is quick and easy and rather enjoyable. While the weights rattle a bit in use they are secure and work fine. In fact whenever you have them in a pressing motion they are extra secured, meaning they would not fall off even without the pin (of course not recommended). They are comfortable to grip and use. You may touch your forearm to the crossmember at times during certain movements (like wrist curls) but for the most part they work just like regular dumbbells. I have IronMaster dumbbells and these are a great addition for lighter weights. Also the weights are color coded to make it even easier/faster to change weights. ... show more

I’ve had my eye on power blocks for years but eventually opted for a more traditional gym. I recently moved for work and needed a more portable solution to use on the road and I’m a little disappointed for the price. The dividers that lock the weights in are super flimsy and get wedged halfway between one weight plate and another more times than not. It feels like something that will break relatively quickly. Plus it is super frustrating to be in between sets and have to fight with it to change your weights. If I had it to do over again I would have probably gone with a different system. ... show more

Wow, so these were delivered today at 6:45am on a Saturday... First off, I feel super fortunate to have purchased these for the price I got them. I received an alert from Amazon that they would be available so I acted on it and purchased it ASAP for about $100 less than I am seeing them for sale by other vendors currently (7/2020). So kudos to savings. I had been hesitant to how these worked, but after using them and studying them for a bit, I am very satisfied. I can’t talk about longevity yet, but it does seem to be built well. I took a couple pictures to show the mechanism that helps hold the weights onto the handles, but know that it is engineered to be held by several measures, so it seems pretty secure even though the main U shaped pin is made of a plastic. I weighed the entire unit (which is suppose to be 24 lbs) it weighed in at 24.3 lbs., not bad, I guess. Overall, I’m pleased. In the age of COVID-19, it is extremely difficult to find any home gym equipment, so I am grateful to have these and pleased that they have a very small foot print in my home and not very noisy at all! ... show more

Ok, not really but working on it with these DBs. They work great; easy to change weight up or down. Too expensive IMO but hey, they work great. Amazon really pissed me off by targeting me; after I paid full price for these because the real set was $500, a week or two later they sent me an offer to buy the larger set for $280. Well what person wouldn't have spent the extra $80 to go big at first? But by then the original packaging for the Sport was torn up and thrown in the trash so no return.....lame. ... show more

Can't tell you how happy I am with these new power blocks! So sick of using water bottles for the last 7 months! Lol! Just glad to have real weights that don't take up much space. Since staying home so much during the pandemic I've taken up quite a few hobbies so there was no room for a bunch of weights. These are easy to use. You just have to get use to using the plastic bracket to insert it properly on both sides. Pondered whether to get the the other set that goes to 50 lbs, but figured could always do that later. Yes, they are expensive! So is bad health! Lol! ... show more
