I recently purchased the Portzon 2 lb weights and overall, I'm pretty satisfied with my purchase. The weights are a good value for the price and they're well-made, with a solid feel to them. They're also very versatile – I've used them for a variety of exercises and they've worked well for all of them. One of the things I like most about the Portzon weights is their size and shape. They're small enough to be easily held in the hand, but they're also heavy enough to provide a decent challenge. The hexagonal shape also makes them easy to grip and prevents them from rolling around. I do have a couple of minor complaints about the weights, however. Firstly, the rubber coating is a bit thin and flimsy, and I'm not sure how long it will hold up to regular use. Secondly, the weights do have a slight odor to them, which is a bit off-putting. These are minor issues, however, and overall, I'm happy with my purchase. In summary, the Portzon 2 lb weights are a good value and well-made, with a solid feel and a convenient size and shape. They're versatile and work well for a variety of exercises, although the rubber coating is a bit thin and they do have a slight odor. I have been shopping for a while for 10lb dumbbells. I was impressed by the reasonable price for this pair. I also like the lively green color. They arrived clean and very well packaged, each individually shrink wrapped. They both are accurate in weight. The neoprene coating makes them feel very stable. There is a tiny straight seam where the coating begins/ends but is not noticeable in feel to me. These 10lb weights are possibly at the max wideness for my hands.
