  • Awesome stuff. Could be just a little darker but still love the color
Color: 1kg 3d Print General Flat Dark Earth
The media could not be loaded. So to start off, this 3D general FDE polylite PLA pro is pretty amazing and I’m about to buy my 3rd&4th rolls. Dimensional accuracy is slightly better than .05mm where I checked but I didn’t take pictures of my gauge and only checked twice during 1 long (34hr) print about halfway through the roll. It’s got great properties all around, including both impact resistance and rigidity. It’s flexible but still very stiff. I haven’t tested the heat resistance, although it’s not something I’m terribly worried about. It’s super easy to print with and it prints really well with great layer adhesion, some slight warping on steep overhangs and really thin areas if you don’t use fans. I used 30-50% fans and printed relatively slow for anything too crazy and was virtually warp-free. I probably could’ve printed faster tbh but I prefer quality over speed. (The brace and hand stop were printed on an sv06 using the default prusaslicer speed settings with default dynamic overhang speeds and fan at 40% bridges at 100% and they printed perfectly. The only time I had any stringing at all was about a week into using the roll without drying it. I dried it for 6hrs at 55°c in a sunlu dryer box and it was good to go again. So I do recommend keeping it dry or drying it periodically, as it shows more hydrophilic tendencies or symptoms than other PLA plus filaments I’ve used. It has an incredibly awesome matte/flat finish that’s really hard to get with most other PLA plus filaments (that’s probably my favorite feature of this filament tbh), and the color is really great although it’s more of a desert tan than FDE in my opinion. I guess desert tan could be considered a shade of fde these days with how many different shades there are lol but it’s fairly light. All in all it’s absolutely awesome and I’ve almost completely switched over from eSun (except for a couple amazing colors that eSun does best like the olive green *chef’s kiss* and their grey is awesome too). Still giving 5 stars even tho I wish the color was more of a true FDE. Can’t beat the printability or material properties. And that matte finish tho 🤌👌 ... show more

  • Very forgiving temperature range, bridges well, very pretty
Color: 2x1kg Black + White
I had been using a competing PLA+ product for quite some time until I got fed up with its legendary tendency to tangle, and after reading reviews on various sites, decided to give this a try instead. This ended up being a fantastic choice. I first printed a temperature tower using black (I bought a black + white bundle), and although 205C ended up being the best result for my Ender 3 S1 Pro, the fact is that bridging worked beautifully for every temperature between 180C and 220C, with a solid sheen from 200C to 215C. Stringing was very minimal, and fine details were best from 200C-210C. I next printed a kickstand for my ROG Ally which involved a lot of bridging of up to 30mm. I decided to use no supports for those, and only added one minimal support (4mm/25%/triangular) wherever something would otherwise be sticking out into thin air. Despite using a 10mm/4 layer skirt, I had a bit of adherence problems on the smaller piece that was curved along the bottom, but this was fixed by adding a support there too. The resulting print (shown in the photo) was beautiful; glossy and strong. No problems removing it from the print bed; the only problem I had was the tedium of cutting away the skirt, which did not pull away easily. (Next time I'll go with 2 layers instead of 4 and see how that works.) I had no tangling problems at all. I'm very pleased with this PLA PRO filament, and I will definitely be buying more in other colors. ... show more
