  • If you are using an AMS, or a BAMBU printer, please read.
Color: 4 Pack Wood Bundle
I ran a spool of this stuff through a Bambulab P1s, and had zero problems. I do however encourage anyone and everyone who is running filament with additives such as wood, metal, carbon fiber or nylon to invest in a new printer nozzle that is made of Tungsten or Hardened steel. This will prevent printing issues and spalling. I did get several good prints made with this and loved the look, even though it did not have the outward appearance of wood, it can however be stained. The quality is good, it also seems to adhere to the bed without issues. Just make sure you clean your printing surfaces before use ... show more

  • Great bundle! Good filament!
Color: 4 Pack Wood Bundle
Came packed very well in a little shoebox sized package every roll individually sealed Literally threw a profile together and printed perfectly off the bat , the walnut looks gorgeous especially, that one prints 5 degrees hotter than the rest for some reason or it doesnt stick but other than that will be ordering more as these run out , i kind of like the smaller rolls, the make breaking on these brittle filaments less common as extruder has to fight less weight ... show more

  • Works brittle
Color: 4 Pack Wood Bundle
The media could not be loaded. this 30% wood pla works, probably wouldn’t use for weaker structures. It’s brittle when adding to the printer so cut the first piece well and go slow when adding. The texture is great. The four colors are cool. It does a little spiderwebbing the longer it’s printing but removes easy. the base edge layers are harder to remove. But I Like the product a lot. ... show more

  • Works better than I expected
Color: 4 Pack Wood Bundle
I was able to print without issue with this filament on a Bambu LabA1 printer. I printed with a 0.6 nozzle, 0.3 layer height at 206° C. I tried a different brand of wood filament and the printer clogged right away.

  • Quality filament, very pleased.
Color: 4 Pack Wood Bundle
Had an initial issue but it was solved by OVV3D customer service, which is some of the best product service I have had. Filament is definitely a quality product and the best wood imbued filament I have tried so far. I have printed sample Benchys' for each of the wood types in the four pack bundle...great quality prints for wood filament. Wood filaments can be tricky and require attention to settings. OVV3D recommends: Print Temp: 200c-220c Bed Temp: 40-60 Print Speed: 25-45 mm/s Fan: On I decided to test this filament on my Klipper based Ender 3 v3 KE, so I pushed the specs a bit just to see what I could do with it. My settings: Print Temp: 225c Bed Temp: 50 Print Speed: 100 mm/s. (Probably could have pushed it faster, by a bit...maybe 150 or even 200. Though, if I were printing an item I intended to sell, I would obviously print closer to the recommended speed to increase quality of final print.) Fan: On I had some fine stringing but that is to be expected with wood based filament, particularly when printing at high speed, just brushed the strings away with a small firm craft paint brush. I work mainly printing Dollhouse miniature and prop related item...I would recommend this filament to anyone wanting to print with wood. I highly recommend this filament! ... show more

  • Clogging nightmare
Color: 4 Pack Wood Bundle
Hours and hours wasted. Tried a range of temperatures and speeds only to have clog after clog. When it did work, I liked the look, but it never finished a single print. I spent 2 spools of filament trying to dial in and find settings that would work to no avail. I have a Lulzbot machine that’s been very reliable, but this is the first filament that’s been this bad to where I’m just going to throw it out if I can’t return it. Did not work in my printer. Tried configuration changes and recommended settings from other comments. I will buy filament from the company again, but never this wood pla. It has proven to be very poor quality for my machine. 0.5mm M175 Lulzbot head. ... show more

  • Does it's job, needs fine tuning
Color: 4 Pack Wood Bundle
Let me first say this is the first filament I've ever bought that has wood in it. I definitely was new to this and this filament was my intro to the world of infused filaments. Now, I've had both really good and really bad things to say so let's start off with pros. Pros: Has a great finish when it prints (super smooth and layer lines are almost invisible. Seems like that's the wood fibers filling in the rough print edges) as well as the feel and smell. When printing my room smells like a lumber mill and the print itself feels like a peice of wood that was rough sanded. Really authentic stuff. Cons: This filament is VERY brittle, even when dry, so be gentle when loading it and make sure your printer settings accommodate for a softer filament. On top of this, the filament is also very susceptible to heat creep. In a 4 hr print, I had to remove my bowden tube off of my ender 3 and load in a new section of filament probably 10 times. I've found that a lower temp allows the filament to soften but still maintain rigidity up until the nozzle so keeping it at 190C helps alot with preventing heat creep. Also the clogging is a menace! Lower your speeds of printing and it should be fine which will allow the fibers to travel with the filament rather than get clogged in the nozzle (this filament makes a lot of clogs if you dont know what youre doing). What I found is if you follow the manufacturers settings and use the lower threshold, the greater success you'll have with this filament. Also your prints will be VERY soft so do not print this for strength, only for show. Overall it's not horrible. Would I buy again? Probably not given the troubles this filament gave me with the brittleness amongst other things and also the value for the money isn't great given that you can buy a 1kg roll of some other brand for some more but who knows, maybe as I continue to use it, ill change my mind. This filament definitely isn't for beginners starting 3D printing though. ... show more
