🚀 Abunda's Overview

This is our summary and key points to consider based on customer reviews.

The iSanmate filament products receive generally positive reviews, with particular praise for their printing quality and great color. • đź’ś Matte finishes provide smooth and attractive printed results.
  • 👌 Filaments generally seen as reliable with minimal clogging.

Cons

  • 👎 Some color gradients, specifically the Red/Yellow variety, do not match their advertised appearance.

  • ❌ A small number of users reported clogging issues with certain filament types.

Should I Buy It?

If you prioritize high-quality prints and a wide array of unique finishes and colors, then iSanmate filament is a solid option. However, bear in mind that the colors may not always match their advertising perfectly, and be prepared to test and adjust settings for optimal results.

  • Beautiful Color and Top-Notch Print Quality!
Color: Matte Blue+green+pink
The color is vibrant, consistent, and looks amazing on finished prints—exactly what I was hoping for. It has a smooth, rich tone that really pops, whether I'm printing small models or larger pieces. Print quality has been excellent. The filament feeds perfectly with no jams, and layer adhesion is solid. I’ve had zero issues with warping or stringing, and the surface finish is clean and professional-looking every time. It’s clear this is a high-quality filament, and it’s become my go-to for any projects that need a bright, eye-catching pink. Highly recommend for anyone who wants great results and reliable performance! ... show more

  • Wonderful Colors and Great Quality
Color: Candy Green+pink
The color on this one is absolutely brilliant. Everything about this filament just works. It's durable, pretty, and I was very surprised with the smoothness of the final print without any tweaking or troubleshooting. It has a wonderful matte look that absolutely did my Flexi Troll and Loch Ness Monster justice. This is an absolute go to for any Flexi Factory model! ... show more

  • ~~DRY THE FILAMENT B4 USING~~
Color: Glow Green
Review is for the: "iSANMATE 3D Printer Filament, PLA Filament Glow in The Dark, 1.75mm Dimensional Accuracy +/- 0.03 mm, 1 kg Spool" As with most any filament from the factory... it works best when dried for 10+ hours. Many people report how brittle this filament is & yes, wet filament is brittle. So, dry it first. Then it will work well. I have had great prints with the Glow filament. After charging off a Bright light for 20 minutes, it will last for a few hours. Thicker prints works best of course, as there is more product to glow. Good detail can be printed with this. Important to have the settings correct, as the Glow is actually a PLA+ which melts at a higher temp than PLA. Appears to be a bit stronger than PLA, but not like a CF or PETG. I would purchase again. Be sure to dry it first. ... show more

  • It prints just like any other PLA filament. Will become brittle not in use.
Color: Clear Gillter-light Purple
Great quality PLA filament. First time experimenting with transparent, glitter PLA filament on a Elegoo Neptune 3 Pro. Just found out the filament will become brittle and break off in the printer head overnight when not in use. Easy fix, just go into the settings and load filament and extrude after it heats up. ... show more

  • Look elsewhere
Color: Glow Multicolor, Green, Blue and Blue-green
Let me count the ways in which I feel ripped off. 1) As displayed in my uploaded image, the consistency of this filament is abhorrent. I am using a brand new JS1 Snapmaker and the filament has been grinding the drive gears of the extruder like a rookie truck driver. Never in all of the years I have been doing 3D prints, have I come across a filament that actually gets stuck in the Bowden tube to the point you have to yank it out backwards in an unloading scenario. The print that I am working on, was to be an 18 hour print, but it is now 26 hours because every time I walk away and do something constructive else where, it decides to get stuck and make the JS1 stop and wait for me to return to essentially, yank the filament out, and load it back in. 2) One would assume these would be a full size roll but alas, that is not the case. These are 4 mini rolls of frustration and wasted money with an odd coating that is grainy and full of friction. Luckily I had my SUNU drier and have been literally cooking the roll as I print but even so, it has jammed twice. Wonderfull, because we all know how awesome it is to have a large print stall out or quit on you when it is assumed the product you bought would be just a tad bit better on the quality side. Might as well try to 3d print log chain and see how that pans out. 3) "Glow" doesn't seem to be glowing in the colors that are pictured. In fact, all 4 of them, have the same sick green glow to them so..not sure where the variety pack is in all of this, but it is safe to say they didn't know either, grabbed whatever was laying on the floor and threw it into a box for me to suffer their lack of QC. Either way, I will not buy another product from this company as it is painfully obvious to see, their deceptive practices know no bounds. If it did not take forever to get filament from Snapmaker, I would order nothing but Snapmaker filament because it is far superior than most of what is here on Amazon, other than Hatchbox, which is now my new go to Filament company at this point. (Overture also has issues with overlaps, snags and just horrid PETG) ... show more

  • OMG Love!
Color: Glow Blue
I bought this because I love glow in the dark things and so far so good. I’ve been working through the filament because I hate dealing with extruding new filament. I haven’t had to change any options from my normal PLA setup, so ease of use is solid…I haven’t had any printing flaws with it either, despite attempting more and more complicated prints. Looks-wise, when it’s printed and viewed in normal light the print looks like a cloudy semitransparent piece. Once the lights go out the glow is present, but since I’m sort of a cave dweller I find I need to use a black light to get the full effect. If you’re placing it in a sunny area to charge up you’ll be fine, but if you’re only under artificial light you’re going to have to let it charge quite a bit. All that said, if you want to simply give someone else or yourself a sense of awe in your projects, this is fantastic! ... show more

  • Varying quality
Color: Glow Multicolor, Green, Blue and Blue-green
Mixed review. Plenty of filament for the price and the variation in colors is awesome. Shipping was no problem and everything was packaged perfectly. Printing quality with this varies greatly depending on what your printing. It seems the melting point of the filament is definitely higher and our printer struggles a lot (using ToyBox Plus). Our temp is set to 210C and this filament cools very fast, almost faster than the printer can print it out and tends to clump up or not ahere properly to each layer making long filament strings all over the print. It seems to work fine with smaller and more compact prints like figures and sculptures but anything that requires the printer to print multiple areas such as legs on figures or longer items such as hexagonal patterns it can become a big mess. Would not recommend for smaller scale/introductory print machines such as ToyBox or lower heat units. ... show more
