    • very portable
This is a good choice for a portable fire ring. I have numerous fire pits that are heavy duty and not practical for moving around unless you have equipment. This fire ring is good for transporting and light enough to move around wherever you may want to put it. If you want to take it apart for travel it is good for that. My suggestion is to use 1/4 in. hex head bolts with wing nuts located on the outside for ease of taking apart. Thes bolts and nuts that came with the ring are pretty light duty anyway. Just chunk em in the pond or wherever. Remember it is galvanize. So burn it a few times away from kids and your favorite mutts and you'll be ok. Of course you could always invite your mother inlaw to test out the ring on the first burn or so. They do say smoke follows beauty. Or is that smoke follows grumps. Well, you get the picture. This is a good choice for an inexpensive fire ring, and it should last quite a while, unless you back over it with your truck after a few colds ones. Any how, good over all purchase. Lots of uses for it other than burning stuff. Might get another one to put in the living room for a coffee table. The little woman always yelling at me to keep my feet off in the coffee table. Don't understand why, we never drink coffee in there anyhow. ... show more
