  • Good Quality.
What great sight for the money! Easy to use and install. Battery is great. Easy to sight in. I didn't have to pay an arm and a leg to get it.

  • Very usable inside of 100 yd
Like any 4 MOA red dot, this is not the thing to be using for bullseye shooting at 100 yd or beyond. Most people will be able to achieve good accuracy at 25 to 50 yards and practical accuracy at 100 yds. It is very easy to sight through, light weight compared to a magnifying optic, and provides a lot of value for the money. Coming with an attached rail mount is even better. This thing is so cheap that if you are even curious about whether you like a red dot on a rifle or not, just buy it. So far I only have about 75 rounds experience with the scope on an AR15 and I think that I'll keep the rifle configured this way. What I didn't like was that there is no marking on the windage or elevation dials, and the manual does not say how much 1 click adjustment moves the point of aim. Instead it says to look at the dial on the scope. I have not checked if the red dot and green dot shoot to the same point of aim. Also I have not done any kind of mechanical stress test. (Check YouTube for that.) Follow-up: I wanted some magnification for shooting at 100yds and more, so took this off the AR and put it on a Ruger 10/22 target lite. That's a better match for this red dot, but still limiting for the rifle. There hasn't been any problem holding zero and it as easy as could be to use. Just remember to turn the illumination off when finished. Previous comment about dials not having any marking is still worth noting. Also, click stops are rather crude so it may not be possible to find a click that is right on the X, if you are target shooting and wanting to be precise about your point of aim. My guess is that each clicks is about 1" at 100 yards ... show more

  • Consider your application.
I bought this for a crossbow and for that low recoil application it's perfect. Really easy to adjust the reticle and the light is plenty visible. I wouldn't trust it to maintain zero on a firearm stronger than a .22, but for the price it's pretty good and I'm happy with it.

  • Great value / Easy to use
I live in a rural area and unfortunately with feeding some wild birds in the area I have had an increase in rats. The wife loves the birds so not feeding them is not in the cards and the owls have been negligent in their rat killing duties. So, this green / red dot scope now sits atop my .22 airgun. It did not take much to sight this in (I have sighted it in for a relatively close in 75 feet) and now I can get a very quick sight picture on a rat and dispatch it with haste. I am pleased with the clarity of the optics so far and the ease of mounting it on my airgun. Compared to what sights like this used to cost just a few years ago and I would consider this to be a great value. ... show more

  • Nice optic- bad mount. And the price is way too low!
I like the red AND green dot. Very visible.easy to see. I also liked how precise the adjustments were , after three shots I was hitting center of crosshairs EVERY time. And the price is unreal. I’d give this ring 5 stars but there’s no way this fits a grooved receiver on my Ruger 10-22 or my high end pellet rifle. The thing is mounted now after several attempts but it’s wonky & I don’t think it will stay on if I bump it. I hope yours fits better. That said I’ll probably buy another I bet and ask my gunsmith buddy to have at it. He might have some adapters laying around ... show more

  • Great red dot for the price
After purchasing a few Sig Romeo 5's (which I highly recommend if you can afford) I wanted to give a cheaper in price red dot a try for general plinking and pest control with my 10/22. I am very pleased with this sight and glad I purchased it. Installation was a breeze and is very secure on my picatinny rail. The red or green dot choice is nice if you need to contrast against a target. I like the brightness contrast between the smallest dot and brightest but wish there was just one more dimmer and smaller dot for dark conditions. Plenty bright for day shooting. Easy to adjust, windage was dead on out of the box, just had to go about 30 clicks up for elevation on my rifle to hit dead on at 20 yards. I did not try any precision shooting but this sight was easily minute of pop can at 20 yards, plenty good for plinking and pests. I would recommend this sight to anyone on a budget or you just want to save money and buy more ammo then this is a sight for you. ... show more

  • Quality control error: Crooked mirror
The media could not be loaded. So I'd tried canceling my order on the same night I ordered it, as I'd found a scope from TruGlo that had really good reviews. Regardless of trying to cancel the order while it was still "being processed", they went ahead and sent it to me anyways. I mean whatever, I thought I'd at least try it out since it was headed my way. Immediately upon opening up the product I noticed the mirror behind the front glass lens was crooked, significantly pushed inwards on the right side of the scope about 4mm. Since there's usually gas within these scopes that prevent condensation on the interior, it's sealed tight with no way to open and correct the malfunction (which I wouldn't want to attempt anyways). This structural error resulted in a fuzzy, overly dilated red/green dot. So, completely useless right out of the box. I'll certainly be returning it asap and will continue to enjoy my TruGlo, 11mm dovetail scope. ... show more
