Description

Know the range, and shoot the exact pin with minimal movement using Zero A1i bow sight. It’s the first bow-mounted digital laser range finder and targeting display system that measures the angle-compensated distance to the target and provides an LED pin for the shot, even on those “in-between” yardages. Dual- color LED pins automatically adjust brightness to conditions and allow you to see your target, unobstructed by physical pins. A single trigger lets you range at rest or full draw to game up to 100 yards away or to reflective targets up to 300 yards. To help you track game or arrows, Laser Locate works with compatible Garmin devices (sold separately) to show you exactly where the target was located when the shot or range was taken. Zero A1i bow sight saves settings for various bow setups, and it’s customizable for single-pin and multi-pin configurations or for manual pin selection.

  • Excellent sight, seems to be a game changer.
Size: Right Handed Style: Standard Pattern Name: Bow Sight
Just bought this, so far I'm impressed. Feels well built, easy to read, easy to use, overall I am really liking this sight much more than any other one I've hunted with. The one thing that took a bit getting used to for me was to make sure and keep your eyes focused on the target and not the sight (look through it so to speak). If you try and focus on the red dot or the ranging reticle they will appear blurry. Also MAKE SURE YOU UPDATE THE FIRMWARE RIGHT AWAY, I can't stress that enough, older device software had known issues with locking up and those issues have been resolved. Pro's -Ranges targets in about 1/10 of a second, very quick. -Clear sight picture, no pins blocking your view until you range the target -Many adjustment options -Software is easy to use and fairly intuitive -The rangefinder has angle compensation built into it -Keeps some statistics and logs for you to view -Easy to add additional distances -Clear easy to read screen Cons -Somewhat heavy, my bow now feels a bit top heavy with it -The software locked up right away out of the box, after updating it no issues so far -cost I'll update this after I get some time in the deer stand with it but its looking like this sight is a major game changer, no more guessing at distances or having to rerange targets or using the wrong pin when shooting. I think its a big (expensive) step forward in archery technology. EDIT 11-21 - I normally don't read directions as I can figure things out faster just using the device but missed one critical piece of information, make sure you get lithium batteries for this. The alkaline ones will drain quickly in cold weather, luckily I figured this out before the 30 point buck walked in front of me lol. ... show more

  • Don't read the manual. It will only screw you up.
Size: Right Handed Style: Dual Color & Laser Locate Pattern Name: Bow Sight
This is one of the best items I have ever used. With that being said, it was one of the most complex systems I have ever set up. I shot 270 arrows, setting it up and in the end I was very unhappy, I reset it back to factory setting and started all over again. Much easier to do the second time and I got it right to my setting which was very important to good shooting. The first and most important thing is to download the software update before you start. After that be patient, with every step, don't rush it and in the end it will bay off. Don't fret over the first pin at 20 yards. ... show more

  • Absolutely love this sight!
Size: Right Handed Style: Standard Pattern Name: Bow Sight
Im an avid deer hunter and have been using my crossbow instead bc it was just easier lining up my scope with sighted yardage on shots so I haven’t ever actually used my compound bow deer hunting. I get real nervous when I see deer and always figured I was going to forget to adjust my yardage on my other sight before making a shot and miss a deer. This sight takes ALL the guess work out of it. For one, when u draw ur bow u won’t even get a dot until u press the button to range it so u won’t ever forget to do that! And ranging is as simple as touching ur range button with ur finger and within less than a second the sight aligns and puts ur dot on the correct yardage and you just release ur arrow when u have ur dot on ur kill spot. So easy to use especially for us women bc it’s literally pull ur bow back, put peep on deer, press button, and shoot! It even captures all ur in between distances for those deer that pop out within the every 10 yards that may be marked on a normal sight. U will get a dot up to ur furtherest distance that u have calibrated which mine is at 60 yards. So I will get an exact range on a target that is anywhere from 15 to 60 yards from me. Which I will never chance a shot with a compound bow beyond that anyway so that’s perfect for me. This sight will calibrate up to 100 yards though if u feel that sparky! I love love love it now that I have been practicing with it. I can’t wait to finally get to use my compound bow now this season with this sight! ... show more

  • Buy it and try it do not read the negative reviews.
Size: Right Handed Style: Standard Pattern Name: Bow Sight
Let me start off by saying I was nervous to buy this reading the reviews. Everyone was saying it was super hard to sight in. Not the case by far this was the easiest bow sight I ever sighted in. The accuracy of this sight is awesome. I would buy another one tomorrow if I needed it. You won’t be disappointed. Buy it. ... show more

  • Pricey but you get what you pay for.
Size: Right Handed Style: Dual Color & Laser Locate Pattern Name: Bow Sight
I like the sight really well but the set up was a bit more then I could handle. Had to have pro shop help me do that. After proper set up I do like it very much. I did have to send first two units back as they had some malfunctions. Garmin treated me well and I can’t say anything bad about their customer support. In fact they were great. I ended up killing a whitetail buck this year with it and it worked as advertised. Can’t wait for next year. This unit is great for older hunters with aging eyes and really helped me since I’m colored blind. The illuminated dots are much more easier to see then any fiber pin I’ve used in the past. ... show more

  • Amazing technology...get one
Size: Left Handed Style: Dual Color & Laser Locate Pattern Name: Bow Sight
This thing is awesome! Set your pin, align the pin inside the reticle, test shoot and kill. It's that simple. Once set, I tried several different angles and distances and it is pinpoint accurate. Did I need it? No. Did I want it because I like cool stuff? Yes. Do I regret buying it? Absolutely not!

  • Quick Way to Ruin An Elk Hunt
Size: Right Handed Style: Standard Pattern Name: Bow Sight
I had the sight for probably a month and took extra care to baby it when sighting it in and and practicing. The sight shot just fine putting 1 inch groups together at 25 yards. I packed up the bow taking special care to set it on top of my gear, as to not get smashed. Drove 12 hours to elk camp and pulled out my bow to shoot a target making sure it was still zero'd. The sight turned on just fine, but when I went to range my target it would only Range 2-4 yards. I then replaced the batteries with new lithium batteries to see if this would fix the problem, but it did not. I was going to use the fix pins, but it won't let you set those up until you calibrate ranges, which is only allowed past 15 yards. I cleaned the lenses, reset the sight, and attempted to re-calibrate. Same problem, 2-4 yard ranging limit. I was SOL and had to drive an hour to buy a Walmart Special and sight it in at 2 a.m. before opening day elk season to get a sight that worked. I'm sure the sight is great, but it's annoying buying an $800 sight to go on a once a year trip that costs $2500 after a 12 hour drive. I may have gotten a lemon, but make sure use the sight extensively before placing your faith in it. ... show more
